The workers were all respectful & the owner & manager were both on site at the start & completion of the job to ensure all was completed and cleaned up as it should be & that we were satisfied. Ed called me the next morning (~10 hours after my email) and told me he was in the area and could stop by and take a look.  I was on my way to work but described the issue and told him to feel free and take a look.  He called me back about an hour later and discussed what he thought the issues were.  He explained he didn't think it was a leaky skylight, but more of a water issue from the gutter downspouts.  He suggested a simple and cheap fix that he thought would solve the issue.  He said if that didn't work there were more invasive options we could move forward with but suggested trying the simple fix first (which I greatly appreciated).  He suggested we just get a handy man to do the fix - they do larger repairs.

He was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful.  I appreciated the honesty and the suggested simple fix.  We live in a fairly large house and I am always skeptical to have contractors come over because very often, they see the size of our house and see dollar signs.  This was not the case with Ed.  I will definitely call him when it is time to replace our roof or we have any other leaks.

"I hired Chris, the owner of Roofline Xperts of NC to install 2 skylights on my sunroom through Angie's site. The way Chris handled this project from start to finishing touch-ups impressed my wife, and me completely. Chris came with his 2 crew and they finished installation in approx 4 hours. After letting the 2 crew go, Chris stayed to touch up all my loose end of Roof, resealed all my pipe boots, and came inside the sunroom, caulked all around the new skylight frames, ceiling touch-ups on leak-damages, and cleaning the 2 new skylight glasses inside and outside, all these extra work with no additional charges. From now on, Chris is my man for any skylight or roof issues."

"We discovered a small roof leak and called Consolidated. Van Stallings came out the next day and gave us a quote. We had used this company before and were so pleased that we didn't feel it necessary to look further. They came within the week and took two days to do the job. We had lots of roof! They went all the way to the plywood and had to replace 11 pieces (but we expected some of this). I liked that Steve the project manager took pictures of where the plywood was bad so I could see what they replaced. They removed the non-working power vent and added ridge vents where needed. All the various vent covers were replaced. New flashing was installed around the chimney and skylights. We also had a gutter system installed to help keep the leaves from clogging our downspouts so quickly. They use excellent materials and really do have one of the best warranties in the business. To finish off the job the crew did an excellent job of cleaning up the area. They worked tirelessly and professionally.

"The owners came out and met with my husband and I.  They were highly professional and knowledgeable and pleasant to work with and my husband and I had a lot of confidence in them as compared to others we had spoken to about the same job. Joy in the office was pleasant and informative. The roofing crew came out as scheduled and completed the work in less than the allotted time.  The work was of high quality and the foreman had a ladder brought over to the area of the roof where the cricket was installed so that I could see how it improved the slope in a valley for better drainage.  They did a very good job on the flashing around the chimney and also around the other three skylights (that were not replaced). The foreman and work crew were pleasant, hard working and appropriate.  High quality materials were used.  We have not detected any problems to date.  The fellow who put on the gutter guard was short on a couple of pieces but we were not informed about this until he showed up unannounced to put them on a few days later to complete the job.  The gutter guard looks great and he was very helpful when asked about paint colors for our future siding job.  Chief referred us to an electrician (for the electric skylight) with whom we are satisfied to date.
