"Best service I've received from any business in a long time! Our business had a fairly large leak in one toilet, had a 2nd toilet that had water trickling underneath, and had a small leak in our break room sink. East Coast first of all answered the phone the first time I called. Then, they sent somebody out within hours of my call to do the diagnostics, and went ahead and fixed one toilet. They ordered the tank parts for the other toilet and the faucet that evening. The following day the came back with the new parts and installed the faucet and fixed a difficult toilet. They also responded back with an invoice and their insurance documents within the hour of my request so we have everything on file we needed per company policy. Additionally, the cost ended up being slightly less than estimated, despite some difficult plumbing work with one of the toilets. Very happy with this excellent service!"

"Tom was very professional. He arrived promptly with the drywall and all needed equipment and they set right to work. When he saw that the lighting fixture was wobbly on the one wall he reframed it (at no additional cost). It was a pleasure dealing with him and his company. I will definately call on him again for my future projects.

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

The biggest sign that your flange leaks is if you notice water at the base of the toilet. The cause is likely due to a poor flange installation, so you might have issues with loose bolts, an uneven flange, or a cracked plastic flange. Add a deteriorating wax seal to this, and you have a recipe for disaster. The best solution is to shut off the water valve, replace the toilet flange, and seal it with a new wax ring.

There are few things more annoying than trying to fall asleep only to be woken up by the sound of a dripping faucet. If the faucet drips when the water is off, it probably has a loose or damaged seat washer. The screw gets loose from repeated use, making the faucet drip. With outdoor faucets, this is more common in the summer when people are using it more often to water the garden or cool off. Disassembling the faucet and tightening or replacing the seat washer and screw can get the dripping to stop.

Yes, a toilet, sink, and shower can share the same vent. This is a common installation method that can simplify plumbing and save space. However, there are important considerations. The vent and associated plumbing must be large enough to handle the demands of all fixtures without compromising the vent's effectiveness. Additionally, the toilet should always be located downstream of all other fixtures. Because requirements can vary and space might be limited, it is essential to check your local building and plumbing codes and consult with a qualified plumber to ensure the installation is done correctly.

Clean regularly with non-abrasive cleaners, avoid pouring grease down the drain, and check for leaks under the sink.

A well-installed wall-mounted faucet shouldn’t splash. That’s why it’s worth hiring someone with experience installing wall-mounted faucets. Beyond the installation, you should carefully choose the right faucet and sink combination. If your sink splashes after installation, you can try installing an aerator, which lowers the amount of water coming out of the faucet.
