"A supposed contractor was building an addition and new deck onto our home.  He took the money and left us with an addition that was only ~25% completed.  I called A&M hoping for an estimate to get the job finished.  Darrick happened to be in the area and came over immediately to look at the job.  He listened to my concerns, took measurements and photos, made notes, and provided a prompt, reasonable estimate.  He also said they could begin work within the next couple of weeks.  My husband decided to do most of the leftover work himself in order to try to recoup some of our lost money, but had he not, we certainly would have hired A&M."

"When providing a quote for a moisture issue in the basement of my split-level home, Rob took the time to listen to me explain the issues, answered all of my many questions, and thoroughly explained what he thought needed to be done. We discussed both a costly option (digging up part of the yard and installing drains and waterpoofing on the exterior) as well as a cheaper one (waterproofing paint on the interior). Even though the exterior fix was the best option for ensuring the issue would be remedied, he thought that the interior fix would be sufficient and provided me with information so that I could pick what I thought was best rather than pressuring me into picking the pricier option. He also noticed that my crawl space was lacking a vapor barrier and provided a quote for that as well. I am very pleased with the finished product. Despite some recent heavy rains, I have yet to see any further moisture problems from the basement. And even though I hadn't originally planned to pay for a vapor barrier installation, the price was good enough that I decided to opt for it and I'm glad I did. Even though it would have been cheaper to do the work myself, I am very pleased with the quality I received."
