Bathroom - Remodel
we hired Cransten to do a remodel of our kitchen, master bath and floors in kitchen, dining room, living room, stairs and upstairs den. The initial process was different then I had seen before with me going over the scope of work with a project manager on the phone and me sending pictures of the rooms and spaces that would be remodeled. Different isn't bad their process worked very well. before the work the contractor Robert [Provider Name Removed] made an appointment to complete a walk through. Robert showed up early which was a pleasant surprise as most companies get there when they want. We eventually signed after a price was given. The billing process was simple. And several people from the company checked in with me each week to ensure we were happy and things were going good. A date was set to begin the demo and the project. Robert [Provider Name Removed] actually asked us what time he could start and was incredibly thoughtful of us the entire length of the process. His plan was always with us in mind in ord

Mathew did an outstanding job on the porch. I couldn’t be happier. I was really scared that the stone needed wasn’t going to be found. Mathew took the time to find the right stone. There was also a delay due to weather and he stayed communicated. He was also honest with the materials and let me keep what was left of the stone. I was impressed with his craftsmanship and the completion of the job by himself. Usually this type of job other companies need 2-3 people.Overall very professional. I look forward to using Mathew in future home projects.

Worked with Eric Gilbert to install steps from the garage to the home. Eric was a fantastic communicator and recommended the materials to be used ahead of time for the job. He completed the build quickly, and the new steps are very sturdy and will last for years to come. Thank you Eric and the Cransten team!

Interior Trim and Decorative Moldings Installation
We had Eric Gilbert from Cransten Handyman and Remodeling out to install a new shower and bath. Eric was great, took care of everything. The new shower looks great, has good pressure and temperature control. Eric was very communicative about everything that needed to be done, and was very respectful of the property. I’ll be recommending Cransten to others.

I had Joe Carey come out to help me install 2 garage lifts, and he did a fantastic job! He showed up on time, was super professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. You could tell he’s done similar projects before because he had great tips and made the whole thing look easy. Hired Joseph and he was absolutely incredible! Very communicative and was able to come fix my electrical issues very quickly. He showed up on time and he was able to diagnose and fix the problem outlets. Joseph was so nice and it was such an easy and pleasurable experience. He was very upfront and explained the problems and the costs, so that there were no surprises. I would definitely hire him again for any other projects I have.

I needed a multi-skilled handyman to get my bathroom back in working order after a mold remediation. Joseph called me a week before the project to ask for details, gave me a list of supplies to get, and communicated with me on every step of the project. Not only did he complete the project in 3 days (2 days under my expected timeline), he also completed it $900 UNDER the quoted price. Hes honest, hard working, and fair. Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
I called Cransten because they were authorized installers of an Auxx lift system. Alexei Newenham came out and did the work of relocating my existing attic access folding ladder, cutting and blocking a new hole, and installing the Auxx lift. Alexei was great, and I highly recommend him. His work is good, he is personable, and he is skilled at the rough framing, trim carpentry, plastering and painting, and complex lift install. He is the first one I’ll call when I want more work done.

Drywall Repair
My septic failed at my NC residence when I was stationed HAFB in MA. My wife and Insurance took care of the clean up, but the original contractor never followed up on the repairs. I called Cranston and Deja (my Cranston concierge) sent Joe to do a walk through the next day. Cranston, Deja and Joe my the whole process streamline and painless.
