- ARMSTRONG PEST CONTROLWe found a few bugs in our bathroom and took them to the County Extension office for evaluation. They said we had bed bugs. We called 2 pest control companies and chose Armstrong to come exterminate. We were warned by another company that it could cost $2000 and treatment might not even work, so be prepared for a long, expensive process. However, Armstrong said that they would just have to look over the problem before making an estimate. Armstrong checked everything out and did not see any sign of bedbugs. We showed them the few bugs we found and saved. They said the critters were batbugs, a cousin of bedbugs. They look very similar, but the batbugs are parasites to bats, not humans. Armstrong checked our roof and saw a small seam where the chimney connects to the side of the house where the bats had made a home. There were no bats present at the time and Armstrong filled the seam, sprayed for the batbugs and we have had no problem since. We were very impressed because they could have charged us lots more and we would not be the wiser. We appreciate their expertise and honesty
- Scott's Lawn ServiceHe does power raking, lawn fertilizing, pest control and other lawn work. They do a good job. They usually call me the day before to let me know they are coming. I don't have to be here but I do have to remember to unlock the gate.
- Orkin Pest ControlI have used Orkin in the past so naturally I called them first. Their ad says that if you call before 2 p.m. you get same day service. I placed my call at 1:52 p,m. on July 30th. I gave all the required information to the person who answered the phone and was told that someone would call me either that afternoon or the next morning to schedule an inspection. I did receive a call at 2:27 p.m. The person calling asked when my appointment was scheduled for and I told her that I thought that was what she was calling me for. She said no but that she would send an e-mail to one of the technicians. It is now Monday afternoon, August 3rd, and I still haven't heard a word from them. At this point I doubt that I will so will probably call someone else

"We've had really good luck with them. The thing that stands out about them is that they're small. They don't just say and ldquo;we'll get to you.and rdquo; They take a little bit extra care and they're there when they say they're going to be there. They don't give a window; they give a specific time. Not only do we like the quality of their work but we like that they value your time and they take a more personal approach. I've never priced or used anyone else. It did take them a little while to call me back although they did call back the same day. We're going to use them again this year.
