"GA Chott did a fantastic job with our full kitchen remodel and master bath remodel. We knew we wanted to take our time with such a large project scope. We met with Darryll, the owner, in the Fall of 2020 to go over our project details and get a quote. We wanted to knock down walls to open up our kitchen, so Darryll gave us the name of a reliable structural engineer that we could contact and determine if the walls were load bearing. Once the structural engineer gave us the OK we signed our contract with Darryll in January, 2021. Darryll was kind enough to keep his price quote from several months prior, even with material prices going up. We ordered our cabinets by March, with the expectation that the work would begin in June. Sure to their word, all of the cabinets and other materials arrived in time to begin the project in June. The Job Foreman James was wonderful to work with. He, and his crew arrived on time every day, and kept in touch with us about every detail. The kitchen project took about 6 weeks to complete. It was a big job, with walls being removed, new recessed lighting, and removing our popcorn ceiling. Once those tedious tasks were done the cabinets only took about a week to install, and then they hooked up all of our new appliances for us. The countertops were installed by Stone Trends, which is one of GA Chott's preferred contractors. Stone Trends was a little backed up so there was a bit of a wait on the countertops, but once they were installed GA Chott came back and finished our backsplash tile, and it looks fantastic. While waiting for the kitchen countertops GA Chott completed our master bath project within 1 week. They removed our old vanity, reconfigured our closet wall, and installed a new, larger vanity for us. They refinished our closet, installed a new door, installed new ceramic floor tile, and installed a new lighting fixture and a larger mirror in the bathroom, which we picked out. Between these 2 large scale projects GA Chott basically had everything finished in 7 weeks. I would highly recommend them for any home improvement project. I know we will for sure be using them again for future projects."

"From start to finish we were very pleased with the work and service provided by Al and team. This was the first large scale remodeling project that we've had done, so we were lost at the beginning. Al was very responsive, answered all of our questions, and never made us feel as if we were a burden. During demo, we were faced with some surprises once the drywall was down. Al took it all in stride and assured us that there was a solution to each issue; and there was. "Mike and his team are absolutely wonderful to work with. We moved into our new home in October of 2020 and our basement was completely unfinished at the time. We worked with Mike to create plans to add a bedroom, office, laundry room, family room, and an additional bathroom. During the project, we were so happy with Mike and his team that we asked if he would be able to help us with the upstairs as well. For the upstairs, MH contracting removed a wall that separated the kitchen and living room, removed carpet in the bedrooms, updated two bathrooms with new tile and vanities, along with installing new vinyl plank flooring throughout the upstairs. The wall was removed flawlessly and you would never know that there was a wall there. For the basement, they stabilized the stairs, installed completely new framing, fixed plumbing components that were not up to code from the previous owner, fully insulated and dry walled, painted, all new electrical and panel upgrades, added an egress window, and laid new vinyl plank flooring. The basement is now completely finished with proper permits and fully passed inspections. Mike’s communication was great throughout the entire project and all of his team members were very polite, clean, and helpful. He kept us up to date on any material delays throughout the pandemic and set proper expectations. There were material delays that were out of Mike’s control so the projects took about four and a half months to complete but they were a pleasure to work with the entire time. We would absolutely recommend Mike and his team to any of our friends and family for any work you’re looking to have done to your home or business."

"I highly recommend Dana King Next Project Studio for your home renovation needs. We were planning a rather large renovation including a complete gut of our kitchen and guest bath, as well as refreshing the family room and main hallway. It was important that we had a designer/contractor who would oversee the entire project. We had used Dana King in 2015 to refresh our foyer, living room and dining room and we were impressed with how smoothly the project went, so we hired them again in late 2022. We met with Dana to go over the scope of the project. Dana then gave us estimated costs and timelines. Dana’s group handled every step of the project. The project was overseen by our project manager, Drew Chapman. They made sure all the proper permits were in place before the project began. Our designer, Meg Blais, was in contact with us nearly every day for design selections. The carpenters, Nick Duncan and Greg Piper, made sure the project stayed on schedule, overseeing plumbers, flooring installers, electricians, insulators, fireplace installers, and painters. Meg made sure our appliances, flooring, cabinets, fixtures, paint, and backsplashes were all ordered on time to keep the project on track. Our biggest design issues were with the kitchen location. From the front door, you had to either walk down the hall through the family room into the kitchen, or else go through the dining room. I am not a fan of open concept, so I needed ideas on how to make the kitchen more accessible without tearing down walls. I was also concerned that the main narrow hallway was so dark. Meg came up with the great idea of adding a doorway from the kitchen to the hallway. This provided immediate access to the kitchen from the main hallway, as well as providing extra light to the hallway. She also increased the opening from the dining room to the kitchen and moved the refrigerator to a more accessible location. Even though the doorway in the kitchen meant losing cabinet space, Meg’s design gave us more storage than we had in the old kitchen. The entire process took three months, but the project manager and carpenters kept us informed every single day what had been completed and what was happening the next day, so we were never left wondering what was next with our project. Because Dana King Next Project Studio handles every aspect of a remodel, you don’t have to worry about permits, inspections, which trades people will be showing up each day. Everything was so smooth, and the people assigned to our project were the nicest, kindest, and most professional I’ve ever worked with. I had no problem with having them in our home every day.
