Of course, like many construction jobs, we found some major problems and ended up having to gut the whole thing and redo it. The contractors they send do great work and in the end we have a great new laundry and bathroom. I should also mention that right as we were beginning to wrap up construction, St. Louis got hit with severe flooding and almost everyone with a basement had damage. Luckily one of the workers happened to be on the job that day and contacted both me and Jon, the owner. Jon came over and found out that I had a broken sump pump. He waited for three hours, rolling up collared sleeves to help pump out the water, until I returned with the last sump pump available in the entire area. He installed it at no charge and we haven't had any problems since then. I'd say that's going above and beyond."
