"Great! Caleb cleaned the stove, took the stove pipe apart and took it outside to clean it. He replaced a cracked brick in the stove. He discovered the stove pipe cap was missing. He inspected the flue and the outside assembly. He took before and after pictures of everything. He showed me his findings through every step of the process. Within an hour after he left he sent me an estimate for the replacement cost of the stove pipe cap. He was thorough, professional, friendly, and fast. I was so impressed!"

"Stephen did an excellent job and went above and beyond in all he did. Especially the outside painting. He used putty to fill in where some wood was starting to rot, rather than just painting over it. Had a great idea to fix the vent covers in my basement that have been hanging loose since I moved in 12 years ago. Would definitely recommend.

"The fiNest crew replaced our deck boards. The deck looks great! What I like about working with a small business is the hands-on involvement by the owner. We plan on using fiNest for other projects."

"I highly recommend Guardian for your chimney repair. They were responsive to all of my e-mail questions and prompt with their replies. They clearly explained the work that they would do and why and then put together a detailed estimate and stuck to it. Their price and warranty were better than the other companies that I got estimates from. The crew was on time, professional, and very efficient. They cleaned up nicely as well. The new rebuild is beautiful! Thank you Guardian!"

"I got an estimate from Fireside Hearth & Home, but decided to go with a different company.  Fireside's estimate was actually lower than the one I chose, but the recommended fireplace was going to require considerable modifications to fit into my space.  The particular fireplace was on sale, so was being promoted. It had a gas ignition vs. electric, which was promoted as being a good idea in the event of a power outage.  I learned from the other company that the electric versions include battery back-ups so that would not be an issue anyway.  I was also not told of a $75 rebate from Xcel Energy for buying the electric, greener version.  The salesman was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, but I just came away with a better feeling about the other company.

FAQs for grill assembly projects in Willernie, MN

The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.

The cost of a gas grill burner ranges from $10 to $100 or more, depending on the brand. If you’re replacing one burner, consider replacing all the burners simultaneously. Although it will cost more upfront, it will save you the hassle of replacing a burner every few months, and your grill will cook more evenly and efficiently.

If your grill is relatively new or under warranty, it’s worth fixing. If the warranty has run out, find the cost of parts (usually a burner or grate that’s rusted out). If the parts cost more than half the price of a new grill, it’s worth buying a new one.

However, if your gas grill is a built-in unit as part of an outdoor kitchen, contact the grill manufacturer or distributor to check on warranty coverage. You should also contact a local gas grill repair technician to get an estimate for repairs or a price to replace your built-in grill.

Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. Most grill manufacturers offer an extended warranty, varying in coverage and terms. You can help extend the life of your grill by cleaning it inside and out to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits. Protect your gas grill from the elements with a grill cover to prevent it from rusting, lessening the frequency of repairs.
