About us

Our mission at fiNest Home Services is to empower individuals to maintain their independence at home by offering one-time and recurring general home maintenance services, handyman and special projects, and personalized home modifications, to make homes Livable for a Lifetime. We are a Minnesota licensed and insured company and Certified Aging In Place Specialists. Our founders have dedicated their careers to services for seniors and understand the need to provide home maintenance and modifications to support home ownership and independence as long as possible.

We needed a door installed between our kitchen and basement. Finest (styled fiNest) Home Services came out and gave a professional and reasonable bid. Their staff was professional and friendly, and this held true on the day of installation. The door is great and my cat is safe. We will be using fiNest again.

We needed railings installed in several stairwells. fiNest Home Services was one of 3 we had out for an estimate. They asked lots of questions to better understand what we needed and the quote was back in just a couple of days. Their price was very reasonable so we went with them. Communication both before and after the work was done was excellent. The work was done in one day and done very well. We're very pleased with them and the work and would certainly hire them again for other projects.

The railing they chose to install was plastic rather than composite wood. The pieces do not fit together well. They forgot to install one piece and had to return (also left behind materials). They were nice and tried to correct the problems. It took multiple visits (frustrating) and I'm not completely happy with the final product.

They came out to remove the water-damaged and just plain ugly deck skirting and replace it with lattice. They also replaced the deck stairs and added a new railing. I had given them a picture I found on Pinterest and I swear, my new deck skirting, etc. looks exactly like the picture I had. I am so very pleased with this company, I recently contacted them for more projects I would like completed before Winter. Thank you so much!
