"I contacted Bester Brothers about moving some very heavy and fragile glass showcases. I made an appointment with Joe from Bester Brothers to come out and quote the project. Joe showed up at the exact time we set the appointment, took in the scope of the project and said he would email a quote to me later. Side note: Since these items I wanted moved were heavy, fragile and expensive, I would not feel comfortable with anything less than an established, professional moving company. Before the move, they went out of their way to fit me into a hectic last minute change up as I had to attend a loved ones funeral and plans changed. "Not great. I told Mr. Bodine clearly in advance the journey was 60 miles and the number of steps required to ascend/descend for both houses for the movement of the piano. We agreed upon a price in advance of their arrival. Not only was he hours late in arriving to pick up the piano, he didn't communicate well or very professionally. I suspect he may have overindulged the night before... When he did arrive he was crass and made inappropriate jokes around my family at the starting location. He took his leaf blower to the inside of the piano as expected. When he arrived at the new house he and his helper made it sound like they had no idea it would be such a long journey to get there. After delivering the piano into the room and payment was brought up, Mr. Bodine had his helper talk about payment and tried guilting me into paying more than the price we agreed upon over the phone as Mr. Bodine mysteriously slinked away. I gave them an extra $20 for a tip on top of the amount we originally planned on paying and he was not pleased. Needless to say, the whole experience wasn't great, BUT earned a passing grade because the piano did arrive safely as expected.
