"Great! They managed to rebuild a bathroom faucet that was a discontinued model but matched other bathroom fixtures, installed a new sink and countertop, and installed a new toilet. "I spoke with Chuck several times over the phone to understand why I shouldn't use a no-salt water softener in Minnetonka, MN and what he recommended. He explained everything very well and provided me with recommendations that fit my needs and my wallet. To accommodate the larger toilet, you would need to move the drainpipe, which could cost between $0.75 and $30 per linear foot, plus labor. In most cases, it is more cost-effective and simpler to purchase a new 10-inch rough-in toilet. However, it is possible to install a 10-inch rough-in toilet in a 12-inch space by using a longer connector.

If you don’t replace a toilet flapper, your toilet tank will continue to empty and fill repeatedly, wasting water and running up your utility bills. Checking the flapper is a good first guess when dealing with a constantly running toilet. However, if these problems continue after replacing the flapper, you may need to hire a plumber to check and fix any bigger problems.
