Home Options Inc, located in Brooklyn Park , Minnesota, has been organizing closets, pantries, linen closets, etc. in Twin Cities area homes since 1987. We design, sell and install closet organizing system (melamine or wire). We work with homeowners and builders in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area designing, supplying and installing ventilated wire shelving and custom laminated wood organizers in closets, pantries and more. Home Options is a source for many other organizing products for homes and businesses. Quality is paramount to me and my company, and to ensure that I do all the work myself. There is no disconnect between who you talk to and who shows up and does the work. "Awful! Workmanship was poor, no-show rate high. No “work crew” as promised; contractor brought his wife and minor children to “help”. Products ordered and paid for, damaged during installation necessitating do-over. Did not do installation following manufacturer recommendations. Blamed manufacturer for quarantine-related delays, but we verified order and ship dates with the manufacturer. Delays were contractor’s fault. Contractor made repeated draws on labor charges; stopped showing up when draws exceeded contracted labor fee. He collected state sales tax but has no tax permit on file with TX Comptroller’s Office. Posted photos on Facebook of other projects he was doing while he told us he had to quarantine due to COVID exposure. Never finished project; 60 days after bath remodel tear-out started, we hired a plumber and are completing finish work ourselves. Have posted other reviews and found that contractor has posted fake reviews for his own company. Reported to Facebook, and FB removed his business page."

"Initially, things went OK. After the work was completed, there were several issues with the install; pickets hung crooked, property was destroyed (workers stepped on and bent newly installed gutters and downspouts), and one gate was repositioned in a different spot without my approval which rendered my neighbors gate inoperable as well as interfered with the external dryer vent on my house. I contacted the owner of the company (Julian) and the issues were tended to, although it took several days. The fence did not fare well through the winter, however. I phoned Julian in March to tell him that the back gate was falling apart and would not stay closed due to the latch being improperly installed. I asked him to take a look at it and get back to me. I patiently waited for him, but after 5 weeks of nothing, I phoned again and left a message indicating that he had exactly 10 days to attend to the matter. In that time frame, more pickets from the fence and gate fell off. Apparently, the workers stapled the pickets on with inappropriately sized fasteners. The owner texted me on the 10th day stating that he would come to fix the fence and gate and gave me a date. At 2pm on that date, no one had shown up. I received a text at 8pm stating that he had been by to fasten all the pickets and would be back on Saturday to fix the gate. It's Saturday and he has not been here. Currently, the gate is completely unusable and utterly unsightly. He reattached the pickets haphazardly and they scrape the driveway. I am shocked at how negligent he has been throughout the whole process and regret the day I hired him. I have pictures of this disgrace. I should also mention that this was not an inexpensive project. But I paid 100% more than what it was worth."
