We are very happy with our new cabinets! It was great working with Dmitry and his team. Dmitry takes so much pride in his work. Dmitry was responsive to changes in plans and installed the cabinets even before we expected. We love our new cabinets!

The project was very much discussed and we put all our ideas together and Dimitry shared some of his ideas of what might be some better options that we had not thought of previously going into these projects. One big suggestion was do the cabinetry in a white shade instead of using a color because he reminded us it would be much easier to change your wall colors and much more difficult to repaint the cabinetry. This worked out great and we did the same thing for the linen cabinetry in the hallway. In the bathroom he added 2 floating shelves in natural wood shade on one wall and made a super large framed mirror directly across from the shelves above the double sinks, and kept these in a natural wood shade also, looked great and added another color tone to the room which created more excitement. Self closing drawers, meticulous workmanship and full of super suggestions. I wanted a bit more added to our mirror, it just needed a bit more wood and he came out and suggested an idea and then made a return trip and added it and the mirror looked just the way I wanted it to be. Dimitry is a true Artisan, he will please you and his mastery of custom cabinetry will speak for itself.

We were beyond disappointed with Dmitri. We hired him to build a large custom cabinet with in-shelf lighting. We paid him additional for design services. We worked with him and his electrician to finalize the design. After he installed the cabinets he informed us that the previously agreed upon lighting was not compatible with what he built and that there was no way to fix it. His electrician had already done most of the preparatory work but was unable to install the lights because of how Dmitri built the shelving. Instead of offering to re-do the cabinets to our agreed upon specifications he hired a criminal attorney to bully us into letting him keep the deposit rather than going to court. Further, as you can see below, the craftsmanship was quite poor, with irregularities on most of the shelves. He made us feel like having flush shelves was an unreasonable expectation. There are plenty of excellent carpenters in MN. I would recommend working with someone else.

Dimitry is an old world craftsman. Uses high quality materials not found in manufactured vanities and cabinets. Great communications and responses to all our requests. the vanity is 93 inches long and customed made to fit on a wall with an angle. It fits perfectly. Highest recommendation for cabinet design, quality, finish and installation.

Dmitry came and measured our space and then designed a beautiful cabinet and dresser that he built by hand. He then came to assemble it on site. it was an easy process and we love it.

During the process of designing our new kitchen we went through 3 other cabinet makers and all either seemed to hate what they did or were non-responsive to our questions. In any project, you will have issues or unexpected challenges...Elegance ALWAYS had solutions and ALWAYS addressed them promptly. I am confident that without Elegance and Dmitry, our kitchen would have taken twice as long, for twice the cost, and with half of the result. Dmitry did a great job of creating beautiful custom walnut vanity for a difficult location and small space. Dmitry was able to maximize storage while not sacrificing appearance. We have a vanity that we can enjoy for many years to come.

Dmitry was very professional and knowledgeable in custom design. He was able to tackle the challenges I had in my home office, and was able to build a bookshelf that perfectly fit in to the wall leveraging all the space possible, making it seamlessly beautiful. After costing out new cabinets vs new doors and drawers to facelift our 10 year old kitchen, we decided new doors and drawers would achieve the look we desired. Dmitry was fantastic- he came out and measured every single one, built and installed them himself. We went from a sea of golden oak, outdated cabinets, to beautiful, white shaker style fronts. He uses commercial grade paint and sprayed them all in his shop with the color we selected - perfection. We have received so many compliments since our project wrapped up. It went wonderfully. We worked well together on the designs. I did request a few extras, but in the end it cost less than the fired contractor was charging for severely sub-par work, which I had been coerced into pre-paying for. Dmitry knew I was in a world of financial hurt over the situation, so he gave me a really good deal. His price included all wood and hardware, except for the pulls. The finished products exceeded my expectations.

Very happy with the end result. Dmitry was recommended to me by the contractor who remodeled my bathroom. Dmitry is a master cabinet builder who takes pride in his work. He loves the look of natural wood and so he had a hard time with my request to paint the cabinets grey rather than staining them, but he did and they turned out absolutely beautiful. (I selected the color at Sherwin Williams, he applied a commercial grade lacquer from them). The quality of the workmanship, the storage space, and functionality of the cabinets could not be better. Dmitriy is professional, responsive, and his pricing is very reasonable.

Simply Perfect For years, we’ve had a specific sketch of a floor to ceiling cabinet. This was NOT an easy project and we were very particular with our expectations.
