It’s great to be an educated consumer, especially when it relates to home projects. However, I have completed the research and the vetting for you on closets and closet systems. Home Options is phenomenal on price, product and service. We almost made the mistake going with one of the big, National names in the biz but thankfully we chose Steve and Home Options. They have completed a handful of projects for us as we remodeled our old home and just wrapped up another project for us at our new home. Couldn’t be happier with the finished product per usual. They hit it out of the park again, thank you!!!

Steve was great. Very professional. Installed shelving in a hallway closet of my condo for shoe-handbag storage. Looks great. Steve and his helper were done in under an hour. Highly recommend!

I called Steve and he was prompt in returning my calls. I mentioned what I wanted and hope that it is within my budget. I went to other local closet companies and was blown away by there quote, compared to Steve. Steve gave me a CAD drawing and email quote in a timely manner and I was very impressed with how professional he was. The others around town just gave me a pencil drawing and a hand written copy of a quote and was priced about 40-60% more. His installers were quick, careful and courteous. I will definitely be contacting Steve again for my next home!

I have used Home Options twice for custom closets and they are fantastic. Prompt, skilled and reasonably priced.

JJ was amazing to work with from the start. I had never used a closet company before, typically I use my general contractor to install product I purchase off the shelf. Never again will I do this on my own! Home Options is fantastic- I am telling all my friends. The master walk-in closet is beautiful. And it was not that much more money than doing it on my own. They work really fast, it's incredible, and JJ was able to work within my tight timeframe.

Steve and his crew did a fabulous job for us. The design and materials used transformed two ugly closets into stunning, and space efficient areas at a more than reasonable price. We highly recommend Home Options to anyone.

Steve is amazing at what he does. He also has amazing employees!  He came to give me an estimate on a few closets in my house. Once I agree with the sketch it was off to production. Two weeks later I have a beautiful closet. I am so happy I decided to go with Home Options, Inc. I have a few other closets that I plan on redoing and I will not think twice about calling Steve.  

All went perfect.  The only reason I gave Steve a "B" for price was that I wasn't expecting to spend $1800 on a closet system.  But after looking into it - I believe the price is fair.  The other company we were considering most seriously provided a bid that was around $2300.  We did get a bid from one of those closet/container stores - which was quite a bit cheaper, but I was worried about the quality of the materials they used.  Plus, their design was not at all as efficient as Steve's was.  All in all, could not have been happier and would definitely recommend Steve.

The advice about how many shelves and what clearance between shelves provided in the consultation was extremely helpful. He observed the items we were going to store and suggested varying shelf heights to give us maximum flexibility. The install was right on time and finished quickly. They cleaned up and shelves look great! The shelf material has a bit of give to it and will flex with heavy items, but he mentioned this ahead of time.

I had met with a different company before. Steve took their design and took out lots of weird shelves that did not make any sense and re designed it all. 
He priced their design and then he priced out his design and I could see that he saved me money and made a much better design that also gave us come real built-ins.
I think it makes sense to have an expert in storage help with the design.

We were very impressed from the beginning. Steve was extremely responsive and so much cheaper than some of the national closet companies. He was able to work around our schedule and everything was installed well. We are very happy.

Steve is awesome!  Met with us to discuss what we were looking for (we had a front closet where we had hockey sticks, balls, shoes, rollerskates, etc all piled on the floor).  He gave us advice on various options and prices and then emailed us a diagram of the organizer which was absolutely perfect.  He worked around our schedule to install the organizer -- and we love it.  I am so happy every time we open the closet door.  Steve has taken care of many of our closets and is so personable and does quality work - and is very cost competative.  He's great!

When I contacted Steve and we arranged a time for estimates, it snowed that day and another closet guy from Angie's list cancelled on me twice. Steve showed up!! It wasn't unsafe snow at all...maybe 2 inches but I was impressed that he did not cancel last minute.

His estimate was very competitive and actually was 5 times less than another!!! His drawings are not off the most sleek CAD but don't be deceived by sleekness. His installation was amazing!!!

I am hard to please as I like things done well but Steve went above and beyond and we will be hiring him to do more areas as well as telling all our neighbors about him

Steve was incredible to work with.  We set up a visit so he could see our closet and he offered a variety of design options - from pre-fab kits to custom made laminates and anything you could think of.  Within a day, he had sent us designs and a quote - we went with a somewhat custom design, but nothing too extravagant.  Within two weeks, we had our new closet - and my wife and I couldn't be happier!  Altogether, Steve was a pro's pro - and his prices were EXTREMELY competitive.  I strongly suggest you at least get a quote from him when looking at any type of organization system!

We had our mudroom closet and our master closets done by Home Options. We are very happy with it. When Steve came out to take measurements he responded in about just 2 days with 3D sketches and an estimate. We also got estimates from 2 other companies and Home Options was the best estimate. When we decided we wanted to go with them we did some modifications to the proposed closet and Steve was very nice about updating the 3D sketches and sending it back to us promptly. We did this at least 3 times and they were very nice about it. After we finalized the closet design they were able to schedule us in that same week and it was done in a half day. We would defiantly recommend them to our friends and family.

Our closet was in need of a total overhaul after some flood damage. I started by pricing out the components online and designing it myself, went to The Container Store and looked through their models and pricing, and got a general feel for how much the materials cost, but was totally overwhelmed with the design and installation process. I decided to check out a few services to see what they had to say and what they would charge. Steve was the first person I had out, and he also ended up being the last and only person I met with. He was punctual and communicative from the get-go, was happy to communicate via email, which is my preference, and which many contractors still won't do, and just generally presented himself professionally. This is his only business, and after gutting our home down to the studs, the one thing I've learned is to never trust a contractor who offers to do your plumbing AND insulation AND deck AND flooring, etc, because, when it comes to quality, jacks of all trades master none, and their work reflects it. I asked Steve if he might be able to reattach closet doors from a different project and he said that wasn't in their purview, which I loved. He and his wife specialize in closets and organizing space, nothing more, nothing less, and they are amazing at it. He offered his opinions when I asked, and they were great, valuable opinions. He led me through the design process, gave me the most inexpensive options first and never tried to sell me on anything beyond the basics. Even the upcharges for things like different drawer styles and wood color choices were incredibly reasonable, and when he gave me the quote, I hired him on the spot because I knew from my DIY searching that it was a great value. He and his installer, Ed, came back once the materials came in, arrived 5 minutes early, took exactly as long as they said they would, and left zero mess. They were beyond polite, very intelligent, professional, and, in general, seemed to enjoy the work. I loved the result of our master closet so much that I asked him to come back and give us a quote for closets in 2 additional bedrooms. Steve's work was featured in a newspaper article (for being fantastic), and even though he had an influx of inquiries, he made us a priority and worked within my kooky schedule constraints. Steve has now finished 3 of our closets and will be doing more work in the near future. I can't say enough about the quality of the work, service, and materials. We could not be any happier with Home Options.
