"I am so happy with my finished backsplash! Gary, the owner, did the estimate. His price was in the middle of the estimates I had gotten from Angi. I signed the contract that day and the work was done that week. The installer was a pro who knew what he was doing and, using a quick drying mastic, finished the project in one day! Yeah!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Chad, Rick and the team worked tirelessly to deliver the highest quality of customer service. From the beginning of the remodel to the end they listened to our needs and helped us make good decisions as we remodeled our lake home kitchen. They planned a kitchen with a center island, coffee bar and cabinets we would have never expected to have space for. It all turned out wonderful. They also helped us narrow down the many choices for countertop and backsplash paying attention to our budget. Chad, Rick and team are great communicators and work well together. We are so thankful to have had them do our remodel. They are a truly outstanding team who care about the customer as well as their work."

"We sat down with their people and chose out the marble pieces that we wanted. They spent some time with us. They sent someone out to our home to do the measuring and when they came out to do the installation everything fit perfectly. I think that they are total A's. I will use them again in the future."

Marble and Granite questions, answered by experts

Engineered stone doesn’t need sealing because it is non-porous. The manufacturing process creates a natural stain resistant to moisture, which also makes it easy to clean.

Countertop resurfacing or refinishing can extend the life of your countertops for an additional 5 to 10 years. The longevity depends on the quality of the materials, the amount of wear and tear, and how well the countertops are maintained. To maximize their lifespan, avoid heat damage by using hot pads or trivets, use cutting boards to prevent scratches, clean with non-abrasive cleaners, and wipe up spills promptly.

Engineered stone is known for its durability, lasting 15 to 20 years or longer. Of course, this range assumes high-quality materials and regular maintenance. After a couple of decades, the stone will start showing its age. Watch for discoloration, fading, stains, and burns, but it’s unlikely that engineered stone will experience structural failure.

A water-based, low- or no-VOC sealer is typically a good choice for marble countertops. Choose a sealant that is certified safe for contact with food when applying to kitchen countertops. For high-traffic areas, look for formulas that have heat-resistant and acid-resistant features. While there are economical and convenient spray-on sealers, they don’t coat the surface as effectively as the ones you apply with a pad or brush.

Yes, limestone often turns yellow over time when improperly cared for. The stone contains natural iron deposits, which can oxidize when exposed to water, acids, or harsh chemicals, such as bleach. Without exposure to water or chemicals, limestone should not turn yellow. Always seal limestone countertops to protect them from moisture, and only use gentle cleansers designed for stone.
