"Material was deliver & after a weeks weather delay job started with foreman arriving early to verify all materials were on site. Crew showed up on time, reviewed job with foreman & got set up & right to work on my small re-siding job. I had removed old siding so new siding install & cleanup was done in 4 Hrs. Foreman reviewed finished work & wanted to add more caulking & crew came back the same day to complete. Product was good quality & install was per manufacturer. Extra material was removed in a couple of days"

"We had an amazing experience with Insulation inc! From the first point of contact with Carlos to the final installation with Tony, the team was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the best options for our home and were efficient in getting the job done at a great price. The quality of the insulation has already made a noticeable difference in the comfort of our home, and we’re so happy with the results. I highly recommend Insulation Inc for anyone looking to improve their home’s energy efficiency. They even helped with the rebate from our gas company. Thank you for a job well done!"

"Had the work done shortly after foot surgery. Crew seemed nice, but although i hobbled outside once or twice, I was not able to keep an eye on them. It was a really nice day and they must have been in an incredible hurry to get the job done and get out of there because: -they left my hose running on the far end of the house -they left a pile of insulation for me to pick up and hibble down to the garbage can at the opposite end of the house -they put nothing back so I with my surgical boot had to move three heavy garbage cans back onto concrete blocks by the house, reattach onehose cart and move off lawn and back in the concrete, and move the other hose cart that was left running back by the house once I picked up their insulation pile they forgot to pick up -they left the contents of my top shelf spread on my garage flowers or so I could not get my car back in the garage. Since I absolutely could not climb s ladder with the surgical boot, I had to call a family member to come from about 20 minutes away to help. Because they were clearly so rushed to leave the job, I was concerned that they may have rushed on the actual wall insulation; I was not confidant that sections of walls were not missed. We needed to wait about seven weeks for the outside temperature to lower so they could show me the walls and whether anything was missed. In the meantime, I had to move forward with my separate stucco patch and redash job with another contractor. This caused me seven weeks of concern and dangerous things to do for someone just out of surgery. For that reason, I honestly could not recommend. Intheend, they did insulate completely, but I did not know that for seven weeks. If we found they had missed some areas, they would have had to pay for stucco patch and redash; I would not have paid for rework of a job just completed."

"Window installation was great, however we did run into a problem with the wrong window being bought on a two window project. Mike was nice enough to solve the problem quick, order a new window. Price was fair and I liked how we had the option to pick out different window types unlike most box stores."

Eifs Installers questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on window size, type, material, and labor. Custom shapes or sizes typically incur higher expenses; full installation includes removing old windows.

Installing a window well costs anywhere from $500 to $1,500 or more. Adding an egress window and well runs about $3,900 on average. Adding a window well cover to the project can add $200 to $700. A well cover helps protect your egress windows from weather damage and keeps them clear of dirt, debris, and wildlife.

The primary benefits of an egress window include providing a safe emergency exit, increasing natural light in a space like a basement, and improving ventilation. Additionally, installing an egress window can often increase your property's value.

The proper way to install a window well is to measure the window, dig a hole deeper and wider than the window, place a drainage tube and cap, anchor the well to the foundation, caulk the seam, and backfill the hole. The job requires tools such as a hammer drill and auger and some heavy digging. Proper placement and window well installation are critical to preventing water from leaking into the window.

Most modern egress windows installed in basements open outward into a window well, although some older homes have in-swing windows. Egress windows, like casement windows used in other parts of the home, such as bedrooms and bathrooms, may open inward, and these windows are often larger than outward-opening windows.
