"After costing out new cabinets vs new doors and drawers to facelift our 10 year old kitchen, we decided new doors and drawers would achieve the look we desired. Dmitry was fantastic- he came out and measured every single one, built and installed them himself. We went from a sea of golden oak, outdated cabinets, to beautiful, white shaker style fronts. He uses commercial grade paint and sprayed them all in his shop with the color we selected - perfection. We have received so many compliments since our project wrapped up. I look forward to hiring Dmitry to build some mud room lockers/storage for us when we are ready to tackle that project! Thanks Dmitry!"

"It couldn't have gone any better! The bidding process the reliable scheduling of the work, the carpentry and handyman expertise, talented and fun workers, we're all top notch. Their pricing was also very competitive. They took great care to use plastic to keep the house clean and we're generally very careful and considerate about our home and everything they did. Look no further, hire these guys!"

Small jobs welcome

"I have a 1910 Craftsman Bungalow style home. I needed to install a new mirror in the original bathroom cabinet and didn't have a clue how to get it done without ruining the antique frame. Dustin made it look fabulous, keeping the original casing intact. It is difficult to find someone that appreciates these early 1900 homes and believes in restoring and keeping the original look. He is very talented and was most informative on all aspects of future projects that we have in mind. He gave advise on all levels that was most appreciated. Dustin was a joy to work with and I will definitely call on him again in the future. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone needing his services."

Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Removing a load-bearing wall affects the structural integrity of your home, so you’ll need a permit before starting the work. Building codes vary by municipality, and obtaining a permit and having the work inspected after completion will ensure you’re in compliance with all applicable regulations.

A-frame homes are on the smaller side. While there’s no set square footage amount it has to be, it will usually come in around 1,000 square feet or smaller.

The average cost of DIY window framing is about $40 to $60 in materials. If you hire a window treatment professional, you’ll pay for materials plus labor costs—anywhere from $250 to $800 per window. The final cost is highly dependent on the window size, as larger windows are heavier and more difficult to install, as well as the type of window framing material.

Duration varies by project size, but average-sized homes typically take a weeks.

Framing a basement takes three to five days, on average, when completed by a professional, though it may take longer for a larger space. Keep in mind this doesn’t include the time to complete the design, obtain permits, and install the drywall on the framing. On average, fully finishing a basement takes an average of 45 days.
