Amazing experience. Everything from getting the very detailed bid from Kurt so we were clear on what to expect, to the crew that painted our house, was excellent. Communication with Clider the crew leader on what was going to be happening each day was great and it really all went as planned. They were helpful in choosing stain and paint colors too which I really appreciated. Everyone on the team was experienced and meticulous. They spent a lot of time prepping, which makes for a great paint job. I would say they went above and beyond. The work site was always cleaned up at the end of the day and everyone was very respectful. They also have a parternship with a great carpenter who came first and replaced some rotten trim. The house looks so beautiful, we are really pleased. Highly recommend Home Transformations.

We hired Home Transformations to paint all of our exterior trim, spot glaze our old double-hung windows, and paint the exterior of our window sashes. They also replaced 6 cracked window panes. Kurt was able to fit us in at the tail end of the season thanks to some unexpected warm weather. Daniel, the painter, did a great job. He protected all the gardens around our house as requested. He sealed off the interior of all the windows to prevent any lead paint from making its way into the house. We're very happy with his glazing and painting work. Daniel's experience showed in his attention to detail. At the end of the job, he was thorough in cleaning up. I would recommend Home Transformations to anyone looking for high quality painting at a fair price with excellent communication and service.

The crew did a fabulous job with prep, cleanup, and painting. Our house had a lot of plant material on its concrete block foundation from vines that we pulled off when we bought the place. Danny and his crew scraped it all off by hand! They cleaned up meticulously every day after they finished for the day. Their painting looks amazing! We were really impressed.

Kurt and his crew were fantastic to work with! Kurt's crew was very respectful and courteous and did a beautiful job on my house trim. I will hire them again when I am ready for interior painting.

Home Transformations did a great job painting our house and garage! They both look fantastic! Kurt, the owner, was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Our old house had a number of pieces of trim that needed replacing, and Manny and his crew matched the existing trim perfectly. I highly recommend Home Transformations.

We had a great experience with Kurt and the crew that worked on our house. One of the things I appreciated the most was the advice - there are a lot of choices in a 130-year-old house. We got a solid analysis of the options and what the cost tradeoffs would be. The prep quality and daily clean-up were exactly what I would expect from a group of professionals. The acid test came with the crew discovering some loose wallpaper and a big area of loose plaster that the prior owners had painted over in the stairwell. We reassessed, agreed on a plan of action, and the work was finished quickly. It all looks great. I plan to use Home Transformation again when we need painting or repairs done. I can recommend them without reservation.

Home Transformations did a wonderful job on our 1945 era home. Their work was beautiful, and they were prompt, courteous, and even finished a day early! The workers were on time, respectful, neat and very pleasant to work with. The communication as to time of arrival in the morning was great! Being this is an old house; the guys did a great job working with some existing trim as well as some new that was added. The referrals that were given for repair work needed were also very good.

Kurt's team did a very thorough job and the wood on the house looks amazing. Communication was pretty clear and any issues we had were quickly resolved.

Our experience with Home Transformations was exceptional. One factor in our deciding to use them is the length of their guarantee. They painted our entire foursquare house, which needed a lot of scraping. The bid was prompt and detailed; we knew what was included and what the estimate of time needed for the parts of the job. We got help deciding on a color, including sample color patches on the house. The crew was professional, clean, and on the job each day after starting. They worked incredibly hard prepping the house. We were connected with really good carpenters who worked seamlessly with the painting crew to identify areas to repair; we can't praise them highly enough. (Carpentry was a separate cost.) The painting was neat and thorough. There was flexibility for us to add items during the process, which we did--e.g., railings. The house has never looked so good.

We have an old three story clapboard siding home in Crocus Hill and planned our exterior painting job with Kurt in the fall of 2022 for Spring 2023. Kurt met with us we described the scope of our job and then we walked around the house identifying issues that would need to be addressed during the project. He recognized the need for significant carpentry work and told us up front he would manage the job but sub the carpentry to an experienced and trusted colleague. They both inspected the house closely and presented a detailed and comprehensive estimate for the anticipated work. We sat with Kurt for an hour the following week and reviewed the estimate in detail and he outlined very clearly how he would approach the job and his timeline for completion of the job the following spring. Very professional. When the time came in 2023 to begin the work, the carpenters all introduced themselves to our family and to the neighbors to let everyone know they would be working in the house. The neighbors were given notice and numbers to call Kurt if there were issues and the carpenters cleared their parking locations with us. Very considerate of us and the neighbors. The carpentry was very involved with replacement of a lot of cracked and warped old clapboard, rotting window frames, and weathered dormers. They rebuilt dormers and window frames and expertly sealed the house up tight. The materials and craftsmanship were top notch. When they were done the cleanup was impeccable. Even at the end of each day they took away all the scraps and tools and left nothing behind. They showed up on time every morning too. Everyone was polite and conscientious. The work they did was excellent, even three stories up they did not cut corners. There was some overlap as the painters began to prep the house and the carpenters were wrapping up. The prep work the painters did was excellent - they scrapped and sanded every surface almost to bare wood. When the found rot, the carpenters came back on short notice to replace some sills and fix problems masked by 130 years of paint and patchwork. The painting itself went off without a hitch. The crew did a phenomenal job start to finish. They took a lot of pride in their work AND in their impact on the yard and the neighbors. The crew was very respectful of and polite to the neighbors and they cleaned up the site every evening before they left for the day. There was never paint spattered on the ground, no paint cans and trash scattered about - incredible. We were so happy with the process AND the result. The house looks amazing from afar and from up close. That crew sweat every detail. They made sure the windows opened and closed properly after restoration and painting. They came back to check the windows and porch roof to be sure things were watertight. So responsible. At the end of the job, we had a comprehensive walkthrough with both the carpenters and the painters. Kurt did the final walkthrough with us and addressed questions and concerns and we reviewed the scope of the job, the estimate, and the final cost. Honest, open, and frequent communication helped set realistic expectations and goals. Kurt’s follow through was exceptional. His crew for our job was also exceptional, especially his foreman, Clider. We would welcome the chance to work with Kurt and Clider and his crew again soon. Perhaps for some interior work. Importantly, Kurt’s bid last fall was not the lowest bid by any means. However we chose to work with Kurt and Home Transformations because of Kurt’s honest approach, his expertise in the scope of the project and his commitment to satisfying the customer with the process as well as the end product. Ultimately, there was a bit more carpentry that initially anticipated, which is understandable - 130 years of old paint can cover a multitude of sins. But the prepping and painting estimate was dead on target and came within probably 1% of the final cost. Very nice. This was a big job and it took two months. Kurt and his team get my highest praise and highest recommendation. We will absolutely go to Kurt with our next job and refer our friends and neighbors!

Kurt and his team did a wonderful job painting our house. We have an old craftsman with stucco and decided to go bold with the color. Kurt helped consult on the color and when the house was being painted stopped by to make sure it was coming together and advise on the little details we wouldn't have though to do that really elevated the look. His team was efficient and friendly. The job was done in 3 days and all our neighbors commented on how quick the process was and how nice the house looks. We realized after the team left that a small part of the project remained open. Kurt immediately sent his team over to get it completed and the work was done within a week.

Home Transformations did outstanding work on our home. The crews that came to work on some unfortunately terribly hot and smoggy days, repaired some long-standing carpentry issues, created a portico for our side door, and prepped and painted to perfection. In the forty-plus years we’ve lived here, our home has never looked better. And now it feels ready to take on another few decades sheltering us.

Kurt and his crew did an wonderful job washing, prepping and painting our large old St Paul home, including small repairs to rotted wood. Kurt is helpful at brainstorming and guiding to painting decisions. The crew is respectful to the property and to neighbors, and we received several compliments on them. They were certainly not the least expensive painting bid, but I believe they're well worth it. :)

The Home Transformations team is easy to work with and conscientious. They did a careful job on our exterior—no plants were squished, everything was kept neat during the process. We made a few changes to our original plan, adding a few items and those were easily incorporated. The paint job and deck stain look great, and we'd hire them again.

I hired Home Transformations to fix the drywall cracks and then paint my kitchen, living room, front entry, and hall. Kurt, Carlos, and the team were fantastic to work with and did a great job. They listened to what I wanted, cleaned up everything every day before they left, and did a thorough cleaning prior to leaving at the end of the project. They communicated well and I knew exactly what was happening and when they would be arriving to work each day. The drywalling, taping, and mudding and the painting was all well done. I would definitely hire Home Transformations for any painting I might need in the future.

We have been planning to paint the bathroom ourselves for years, but have been putting it off because it's complicated with all the fixtures and tight spaces. Home transformations did a beautiful job! They were very professional, and they did a great job listening to what we wanted and communicating about the process and cost up front. There were no surprises in the process, and we appreciated their paint recommendations. The paint job itself is clean and beautiful! It was worth every penny.
