Baseboard heater colors are subjective to the person painting them. Typically, baseboard heaters and trim are white, but it’s not to everyone’s taste. Lighter shades like gray and beige also work and offer contrast. If you want to hide them, paint your baseboard heater covers to match the walls so they simply blend in.

Mediterranean architecture and decor usually focus on earth tones for the bulk of the interior and exterior, including red, terracotta, cream, and white. Some homes in this style use bright colors with ornate designs as accents, like tile floors or backsplashes, or smaller pieces of decor, like throw blankets, area rugs, and pillows. The Spanish Revival style tends to be more muted, while the Italian Renaissance style is more flashy and makes more use of bright accents. Modern Mediterranean homes can be either or provide a mix of both.

Primer is always recommended for every exterior paint job because it ensures even coverage and long-lasting color. That said, there are high-end brands of paint that market themselves to be easily used without the need for a coat of primer beforehand. It’s up to you which one you choose (and have the budget for), just as long as you read the paint manufacturer’s specific instructions on the product before getting started. 

You can use paint rollers up to five times with proper care. Reusing paint rollers up to five times shouldn't affect the quality of the paint application, but if you try to use it any more than that your paint job will not be as smooth. You can use roller frames and paint trays indefinitely.

If you caulk after painting, a few things can happen that you definitely don't want to happen. For one, caulk is messy and can make for an equally messy finish. Second, applying caulk after painting might not provide proper insulation because the paint is underneath the caulk and doesn’t add the same protection as caulk. Third, if you caulk after painting, you'll see the caulk line, which can really detract from the look of your home.
