We specialize and have 13 years experience with installing and refinishing hardwood floors. We also install pre finished, laminate and vinyl flooring. Most of our jobs include trim work as well. We can also do general remodeling projects and assist with design and material selection. Mario, owner, does all bids and is on site for all projects. While you could conceivably select any paint finish, paintable wallpaper tends to look its best with a flat or eggshell finish. Painting over wallpaper can save time, but it can create more problems if the wallpaper is in poor condition and you don’t properly prep the area for painting. Depending on the state of the wallpaper, color, and textures could show through, and moisture from the paint could loosen the adhesive, causing unsightly bubbling.

The two most common reasons wallpaper does not stick are a lack of preparation and improper adhesive. Be sure to use the wallpaper paste designed for the type of paper you choose. Before beginning your project, make sure the walls are clean and free of dust, grease, and oils.
