I contacted the company via phone and email and they have been non-responsive. The invoice they sent me stated that I would get water testing results in 2-3 weeks, so, I told them I would reluctantly pay once I receive the water testing results as at least I would be getting some sort of value for the fee I'd be paying. However, they told me that they would not release the water results until I pay. I do not trust this company, so I am refusing to pay until I get something of value in return (the water testing results - again, which I did not request nor approve). In the meantime, they continue to bill me and have started adding 10% penalty charges. I have spoken with Mr. McCormack, and have emailed. They refuse to hear my complaints nor explain how all of this happened. What arrogance.
I have used 5 different companies for various work (electrical, HVAC, plumbing) and have not come across anything like what I have experienced with Mccormack plumbing (undisclosed fees for providing estimates, performing unapproved / unrequested work).
I strongly recommend against using this company for any sort of plumbing work.
For one, they accidentally replaced the old toilet, instead of installing the new one- which was sitting in a huge box labeled Kohler). They had to come back another time to remove that old toilet again and replace it with the new one.
Also a toilet leak in the basement ceiling had stained the wall below it, which I repainted after they "fixed it". After a short time, the stains returned and I could see in the ceiling above that the pipes were still leaking from the toilet . Once again, they had to come back to fix that leak. And again, I had to repaint the wall. The first time they removed the ceiling tiles to get to the leak, they left it on the floor and never replaced it.
The guys also didn't clean up to my satisfaction either.
I highly recommend Brian to anyone with a plumbing need. He's a good guy and does great work for a fair price.
