"Artistic Landscapes Inc. was one of many companies we talked to and received quotes from about installing a boulder retaining wall in our backyard to replace aging railroad ties and decking. The backyard is sloped with very limited access to move materials and equipment, therefore many of the companies we spoke with responded with either limited options for landscape ideas or unaffordable prices. Chris came out, listened to our ideas, gave us some of his and told us exactly what we could expect; he quickly put a bid together and we were elated it fell within our budget.

He and his crew not only worked around the limited access issues, but challenging weather including rain and wet conditions/clay soils. In addition to an approximate 60 foot long boulder retaining wall, they installed 33 paver stones for a pathway, steps as a feature area, additional large boulders for aesthetic enhancements and graded the area to address critical storm water runoff needs. The placement of each stone/boulder was clearly thought through, resulting in a unique and attractive wall versus many of the standard "one on top of the other" looks.

Toward the end there were a few minor tweaks we requested to which Chris and his crew were more than happy to accommodate until they knew we were completely satisfied. Clean up was fabulous too; our front yard damaged by major equipment during the process (which we knew was necessary) was fully restored as promised!

Chris was good to communicate with and very trustworthy in terms of what he committed to delivering. I would recommend Artistic Landscapes to anyone seeking quality work at a fair price, and by someone who knows what works and what doesn't. We absolutely love our new backyard...thanks Chris and Artistic Landscapes!

"Jason and his crew did a fantastic job at a reasonable price for my landscaping project.. A smaller, local company beats the larger landscape companies by providing great service, knowledge, communication and expectations of the project. I highly recommend Jason Black for any landscape project you may have at your home!"

"Ron and his group at L&R Landscaping did an excellent job with our landscaping project. Here is why we chose them for our project and why you should consider them for your project. We met with three different companies to fix a drainage issue and renovate our patio. We felt that L&R listened to what we were trying to accomplish and provided the best solution. There was good communication with the office, lead project coordinators and the workers throughout the process. They were hard working, friendly and very conscientious regarding the next-door neighbor’s yard. We were very pleased with the entire process and would highly recommend that you visit with L&R for your landscaping needs. Jeff and Wendy F."

"I'm giving Goodfellows Landscapes an A for scheduling and showing up for the appointment promptly. Al was very friendly and professional, when it was discovered there was a huge discrepancy in what he provides and what the "Big Deal Advertised", he promptly apologized for any confusion. He said this has happened with other customers and I should contact Angie's List for a refund.

I'm giving Angie's List a big fat D for not changing the Big Deal Description to prevent other potential customers from experiencing this unnecessary confusion, for giving me the "run around" and placing me on hold for an unnecessary extended amount of time, and for wasting Goodfellows' and my time. The deal's title was $49 for Landscaping/Hardscaping Evaluation and Plans Plus $250 Credit. Based on the title & description, I would expect a "Plan" of some sort. Goodfellows was very honest stating they do not provide Plant (Landscaping) Plans. If Angie's List would simply edit the description to omit Plans as being provided in the deal, it would be so much simpler!"

"Jessica and team did a great job on designing and installing landscaping for our entire yard in August 2020. The team was very professional: they were timely, listened to our input and completed the entire project on time and on budget. Would highly recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate to refer them to family, neighbors and friends. Kyle and Pam Rulau"

"Jeremy was prompt to respond to our initial request which was a great start. At our first meeting, he listened to our needs and offered a plan of action on the spot to help mitigate water away from the house foundation. The remedy, a french drain and aquifer, was well planned out, executed efficiently, and is aesthetically pleasing. We are very happy with the service Mojestic has provided."

"Great Goats Landscaping, was the company I had called to receive a bid for the tree services I needed-cutting up the fallen tree limbs and hauling away everything...The owner of this company Mike Olson, is who I spoke with and Mike was out to my home in just a few hours to survey the damage and give me his company’s bid for my tree problem...For all of you folks out there requiring this type of service, all I can say is call Great Goats Landscaping-EXCELLENT service, very professional staff to work with, job well done and the best price I received, from a total of five companies I solicited competitive bids from!!! My tree problem was caused from a freak early snowstorm and I was up against more possible bad weather coming in, so this team of experts were out right away to resolve my issue... I highly recommend this company to all, you will not be disappointed and dealing with Mike Olson the owner, could not have been more positive!!! I would not hesitate to use Great Goats Landscaping again-Great company!!! Julie/Edina,MN"
