They were responsive to questions on the fly and even increased the height of the wall at the last minute when we realized we needed more height to prevent the same problem happening again. They offered suggestions as well to help avoid the water movement that killed the last wall. Their price was fair and I appreciate that they use a local business (D Rock) as a supplier. I would absolutely recommend this company again. I've even considering using them again myself for some future work on my other property. We liked the people at Floors of Distinction and they were happy to make some changes to their bid to do what we wanted with our floor. They were very pleasant and helpful. Our kitchen wasn't easy for the installer, but he was great! One of our walls is at an 80 degree angle so there were a lot of angled cuts. The kitchen floor abuts our dining room floor which is actually exposed aggregate concrete which everyone wanted to use a T-molding transition on, which we just couldn't see how it could lay flat. We talked with the folks at the store and they said a bull-nosed transition could work, and it's perfect. The flooring, the molding, everything is just right, and we're picky. But here's the best part. We have a built-in phone center / meal-planning desk that had carpet running up one side. When the installer pealed off the carpet, there was an ugly piece of metal sort of holding the whole thing up. The whole floor was done, but he took the measurements home and cut a piece of wood that he stained to match the color of the phone center (not the same color as our new floor) and brought it back two days later and installed when he did some final touch up to the moldings. Wow! And was there a charge for this \"change order\"? Nope. The installer showed us how to care for our floor, cleaned up his mess in the garage where he did his cutting and vacuumed anywhere inside that there was dust or shavings. When we made our final payment, they insisted we let them know if we had any problems or questions at any time in the future. We kind of got the feeling they wanted our business again. Family owned business with over 3 years of experience handling all your concrete, driveways, patios, sidewalks, slabs, caulk and crack repair.
"Garrett was very responsive with the bid and throughout the project. He raised our patio about an inch and a half, but had to stop before raising it higher, as he was concerned about the concrete cracking. I appreciated that he did not just continue the project. He did reduce the price quite significantly since he wasn't able to fully complete the job and the price was very fair."

"The patio extension looks nice and was completed quickly for a good price. My only complaint is that with the wet weather the day before they left behind some significant ruts in the lawn. I'll have to rototill and re-seed those areas later this summer."

We are the "Concrete Driveway Experts"!! Meaning... we specialize in ONLY the Concrete Driveway:) We have created and then fulfill for every customer a proven process; the replacement of an existing driveway (or just concreting over an existing gravel driveway) Cornerstone's Proven Process: We have four crews, each specializing and performing their specific task in the "assembly line" process. Tear out crew: With a Bobcat and dump truck will tear out the existing asphalt or concrete driveway and disposes of the material at a local re-cycling station. Set-up crew: Sets up forms, grades and compacts subsoil and ties the rebar grid together. Pouring crew: Meets our local ready mix concrete truck(s) at the site and places the fresh concrete within the forms in a professional manner. Cutting Crew: Removes forms, lays out and cuts expansion cuts and cleans up. ALL aspects of Cornerstone's process is performed with a labor force on our payroll and NOT sub-contracted. This assures Cornerstone Quality!!
"Cornerstone Concrete did a great job with my new driveway. They were very accommodating with my schedule, and were able to give me a quote and squeeze me in before the end of the year. They were also very flexible in allowing me to install some under-driveway drainage for my downspouts while they were working. There was some minor cosmetic damage that occurred during the installation, but they were quick and fair in rectifying the issue. The driveway itself looks amazing. I would definitely hire them again."

I started in the Masonry business in 1976 and have been working ever since. I started my business in 1980 and incorporated in 1986. We are a small company with an experienced crew. They've all worked with me for the last 20 years. Experienced with working with condo associations and large building tuck pointing, brickwork, and stone work.
"In Aug./Sep. 2019, Rogers Masonry did a tear-down of our decrepit stuccoed chimney, followed by a beautiful brick re-build. The project posed some every unique challenges that Roger handled with a high level of professionalism and diligence. He is exceptionally knowledgeable in all chimney-related matters and provided almost-daily progress reports to document the work his crew was performing. His communication was exemplary, and he was responsive to our questions/concerns, all of which he promptly addressed. We were especially appreciative of the many pictures of the ongoing work that Roger provided throughout the project. We have already had the opportunity to make a referral for Roger and hope to work with him on another chimney project in 2020."

My car kept bottoming out on the standard rollover curb. When the city inspcted it the inspector commented on the quality of the job. FAQs for concrete wall construction projects in Columbia Heights, MN
One starting point to find a local home builder is to collect suggestions from friends and neighbors. However, it’s still wise to do some more research before you hire a builder. Read reviews to supplement any word-of-mouth recommendations. Check sources like Angi that have standards and criteria in place to screen the pros it lists can also help you find more reputable local home builders.
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
Typically, it’s more affordable to buy an existing home than it is to build a new one. New construction loan interest rates tend to be higher than interest rates for traditional mortgages. Additionally, the cost of materials is likely higher when building a new home than it was when an existing home was built (unless it’s a very new one). You’re also paying for all new appliances, finishes, permits, inspections, and connections for water, gas, and electricity.
The average price per square foot to build a house is about $150 per square foot. Overall, the cost to build a house ranges anywhere from $100 to $500 per square foot, depending on where you build. The primary cost factors include location, size, and style of house you build.
Concrete contractors typically charge anywhere from $6 to $14 per square foot. Cost factors include job size, site prep, base material, accessibility, your location, concrete finish, and concrete thickness. Removal of existing concrete, asphalt, deck, pavers, and grass will cost anywhere from $1 to $6 per square foot. Homeowners can often save money by removing and disposing of existing pavers, decks, and grass. Breaking up and hauling away concrete and asphalt is difficult and time-consuming without the proper equipment and may be worth having the pros do that work.
