Roger got the appropriate permits for the job and subcontracted the plumbing and electrical work. He replaced the tub, toilet and sink and installed tile on the floor, half wall and tub surround. I was fortunate that the original guy disappeared, because I would have been stick with his poor workmanship. Roger did a professional job laying the tile and I am very pleased with the new bathroom. He also repaired the celling and replaced the sink in the laundry room and removed debris from the original demolish as well as the debris from the demolish he did.
Roger went on to do a long list of various projects beyond our original contract. He laid vinyl in the kitchen and linoleum in the laundry room. He painted a bedroom and all of the trim and doors in the apartment, installed a new counter top in the kitchen and repaired the concrete landing at the front door. There were other projects that he suggested. All saved me time and money. Roger is easy to work with. I found him to be pleasant and flexible. I believe that Roger bid the original contract low because of what had happened with my previous contract and I appreciate that. All of his charges for this project were fair and reasonable and I will certainly hire him again.

Highly recommend Madsen Concrete. Tom did our driveway 4 years ago. Since then, it has stayed in great shape. We just reached the date for our 4-5 year resurfacing. We are usually DIYers but with such a visible part of our home we wanted professional service and product. We called Tom back up...

Family owned business with over 3 years of experience handling all your concrete, driveways, patios, sidewalks, slabs, caulk and crack repair.
"Garrett was very responsive with the bid and throughout the project. He raised our patio about an inch and a half, but had to stop before raising it higher, as he was concerned about the concrete cracking. I appreciated that he did not just continue the project. He did reduce the price quite significantly since he wasn't able to fully complete the job and the price was very fair."

We are the "Concrete Driveway Experts"!! Meaning... we specialize in ONLY the Concrete Driveway:) We have created and then fulfill for every customer a proven process; the replacement of an existing driveway (or just concreting over an existing gravel driveway) Cornerstone's Proven Process: We have four crews, each specializing and performing their specific task in the "assembly line" process. Tear out crew: With a Bobcat and dump truck will tear out the existing asphalt or concrete driveway and disposes of the material at a local re-cycling station. Set-up crew: Sets up forms, grades and compacts subsoil and ties the rebar grid together. Pouring crew: Meets our local ready mix concrete truck(s) at the site and places the fresh concrete within the forms in a professional manner. Cutting Crew: Removes forms, lays out and cuts expansion cuts and cleans up. ALL aspects of Cornerstone's process is performed with a labor force on our payroll and NOT sub-contracted. This assures Cornerstone Quality!!
"Cornerstone Concrete did a great job with my new driveway. They were very accommodating with my schedule, and were able to give me a quote and squeeze me in before the end of the year. They were also very flexible in allowing me to install some under-driveway drainage for my downspouts while they were working. There was some minor cosmetic damage that occurred during the installation, but they were quick and fair in rectifying the issue. The driveway itself looks amazing. I would definitely hire them again."

I started in the Masonry business in 1976 and have been working ever since. I started my business in 1980 and incorporated in 1986. We are a small company with an experienced crew. They've all worked with me for the last 20 years. Experienced with working with condo associations and large building tuck pointing, brickwork, and stone work.
"In Aug./Sep. 2019, Rogers Masonry did a tear-down of our decrepit stuccoed chimney, followed by a beautiful brick re-build. The project posed some every unique challenges that Roger handled with a high level of professionalism and diligence. He is exceptionally knowledgeable in all chimney-related matters and provided almost-daily progress reports to document the work his crew was performing. His communication was exemplary, and he was responsive to our questions/concerns, all of which he promptly addressed. We were especially appreciative of the many pictures of the ongoing work that Roger provided throughout the project. We have already had the opportunity to make a referral for Roger and hope to work with him on another chimney project in 2020."

Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
Typically, it’s more affordable to buy an existing home than it is to build a new one. New construction loan interest rates tend to be higher than interest rates for traditional mortgages. Additionally, the cost of materials is likely higher when building a new home than it was when an existing home was built (unless it’s a very new one). You’re also paying for all new appliances, finishes, permits, inspections, and connections for water, gas, and electricity.
The average price per square foot to build a house is about $150 per square foot. Overall, the cost to build a house ranges anywhere from $100 to $500 per square foot, depending on where you build. The primary cost factors include location, size, and style of house you build.
Concrete contractors typically charge anywhere from $6 to $14 per square foot. Cost factors include job size, site prep, base material, accessibility, your location, concrete finish, and concrete thickness. Removal of existing concrete, asphalt, deck, pavers, and grass will cost anywhere from $1 to $6 per square foot. Homeowners can often save money by removing and disposing of existing pavers, decks, and grass. Breaking up and hauling away concrete and asphalt is difficult and time-consuming without the proper equipment and may be worth having the pros do that work.
