Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely use them for asphalt again - but would be somewhat more hesitant to use them for concrete. Pros: * The process of getting an estimate was pleasant. The estimator knew exactly what she was talking about, was able to talk to the differences between using asphalt or concrete for our driveway, etc. * The driveway and sidewalk fit together flush, and the grading is outstanding. Previously water would pool in areas, and now it all just runs right off. * The surfaces are flat and smooth - snow blowing is so much easier than it used to be! * We have a relative who oversees construction projects for the military. When he came to visit us, he commented on how nice a job Earth Wizards had done with the driveway and sidewalk. Cons: * Communication after signing the contract could definitely be better. We were left wondering exactly when someone would show up to perform each step of the job (tear out, pour cement, pave, clean-up). * There were at least 3 weeks between tear-out and having the asphalt put down, when we called to make sure when someone was coming back to finish it up. * In the spots where the sidewalk touches the side of the house (brick) and some retaining wall blocks, there is a thick felt spacer which sticks up above the top of the sidewalk. I understand that the felt is a standard spacer, but I have not usually seen it sticking up above the level of the sidewalk. When I called about this, they were resistant to agreeing it was a problem, and then sent someone out to fix it. They cut it down at some places, but it is still sticking up in others. Most people may not notice it, but it bothers me - when it gets warm again I plan to cut it back myself and apply some concrete caulk to the gap.

I was very impressed with the time Mr. Schultz took with me explaining what I had, what I could do to prevent further water damage, and what product to use to remedy my situation. It turned out that there really wasn't much of a mold problem whatsoever. He had some pictures with him that he showed me of bad mold problems in other houses/areas. With his suggestions, I could take care of the problem myself. He could have \"taken me to the cleaners,\" but was so honest and forthright. I would highly recommend him. After all the time he spent with me, he wasn't going to charge me. I sent him a check anyway for his time because I thought it was the only fair thing to do."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/mn/chaska/certified-mold-inspection-and-remediation-services-reviews-107540.htm"},"position":10}]}

Family owned business with over 3 years of experience handling all your concrete, driveways, patios, sidewalks, slabs, caulk and crack repair.
"Garrett was very responsive with the bid and throughout the project. He raised our patio about an inch and a half, but had to stop before raising it higher, as he was concerned about the concrete cracking. I appreciated that he did not just continue the project. He did reduce the price quite significantly since he wasn't able to fully complete the job and the price was very fair."

"The end result looks very nice, but the process for getting there was painful. Three points: 1. Project design: K2 did not verify that the toilet could be moved and still use the existing stack (which was visible). The design plan violated a simple plumbing rule and could easily have been discovered pre-project. Instead, K2 did not learn this until after the bathroom was gutted, the wall was moved and reframed. And, the custom cabinets were already onsite. This resulted in a major redesign, extending the project time by three weeks. 2. Project Timing: At contract signing (mid-Feb), the estimated project start date was mid-April with an estimated duration of 6 weeks. The project actually started in mid-June, and took 4 months. Three weeks are attributable to the redesign. Repeatedly, projected start dates were missed without any notification from K2. 3. Uneven quality of work: The finishing work, including the tiling and plumbing, was excellent; these K2 employees were very skilled and great to work with. However, some of the framing carpentry was terrible and needed to be redone multiple times. Some electrical fixtures were installed poorly and two were not connected properly in the attic. The subcontractor's installation of the quartz countertop took three trips, and the installation of the below-counter sinks needed to be corrected by K2."

We are the "Concrete Driveway Experts"!! Meaning... we specialize in ONLY the Concrete Driveway:) We have created and then fulfill for every customer a proven process; the replacement of an existing driveway (or just concreting over an existing gravel driveway) Cornerstone's Proven Process: We have four crews, each specializing and performing their specific task in the "assembly line" process. Tear out crew: With a Bobcat and dump truck will tear out the existing asphalt or concrete driveway and disposes of the material at a local re-cycling station. Set-up crew: Sets up forms, grades and compacts subsoil and ties the rebar grid together. Pouring crew: Meets our local ready mix concrete truck(s) at the site and places the fresh concrete within the forms in a professional manner. Cutting Crew: Removes forms, lays out and cuts expansion cuts and cleans up. ALL aspects of Cornerstone's process is performed with a labor force on our payroll and NOT sub-contracted. This assures Cornerstone Quality!!
"Cornerstone Concrete did a great job with my new driveway. They were very accommodating with my schedule, and were able to give me a quote and squeeze me in before the end of the year. They were also very flexible in allowing me to install some under-driveway drainage for my downspouts while they were working. There was some minor cosmetic damage that occurred during the installation, but they were quick and fair in rectifying the issue. The driveway itself looks amazing. I would definitely hire them again."

FAQs for concrete wall construction projects in Osseo, MN
One starting point to find a local home builder is to collect suggestions from friends and neighbors. However, it’s still wise to do some more research before you hire a builder. Read reviews to supplement any word-of-mouth recommendations. Check sources like Angi that have standards and criteria in place to screen the pros it lists can also help you find more reputable local home builders.
Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
Typically, it’s more affordable to buy an existing home than it is to build a new one. New construction loan interest rates tend to be higher than interest rates for traditional mortgages. Additionally, the cost of materials is likely higher when building a new home than it was when an existing home was built (unless it’s a very new one). You’re also paying for all new appliances, finishes, permits, inspections, and connections for water, gas, and electricity.
The average price per square foot to build a house is about $150 per square foot. Overall, the cost to build a house ranges anywhere from $100 to $500 per square foot, depending on where you build. The primary cost factors include location, size, and style of house you build.
Concrete contractors typically charge anywhere from $6 to $14 per square foot. Cost factors include job size, site prep, base material, accessibility, your location, concrete finish, and concrete thickness. Removal of existing concrete, asphalt, deck, pavers, and grass will cost anywhere from $1 to $6 per square foot. Homeowners can often save money by removing and disposing of existing pavers, decks, and grass. Breaking up and hauling away concrete and asphalt is difficult and time-consuming without the proper equipment and may be worth having the pros do that work.
