"Both installers did a very good job, they were polite, respectful, and diligent. There is still a very tiny piece of debris in between the glass of one of the window windows. There needs to be better quality control when these panes of glass are put together to make sure they are completely debris and smudge free. This has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of work that the technicians did"

"It went great. I'm pretty sure the old windows were the house's original ones (circa 1934) , and they were in very bad shape. Drafty, single-paned, lots of rot and decay in the frames. This was a job that couldn't be put off any longer. TCSP repaired ALL the frames, installed new double-paned thermal windows for most of the old ones. In the bathroom where the window frame was a particular disaster because of moisture, TCSP repaired the frame and installed a glass block window that lets in light but still provides privacy. On four windows which I did not wish to replace because I wanted to retain certain architectural features, TCSP, again repaired frames and then installed new screens and storms. From the beginning of the project, I was impressed by TCSP's focus on customer service. I interviewed and received estimates from several potential providers. Frankly, TCSP was the one I felt safest with. They gained my confidence that the job would be done well. Throughout the project communications and questions were responded to promptly. As a matter of fact, questions were encouraged. Answers and explanations were offered clearly (sometimes repeatedly) and always patiently. Using caulk is one of the simplest and most recommended methods to finish glass tile edges. It creates an elegant seam between the glass tile and the adjacent area, along with a waterproof seal. With this method, you want to use a caulk color that matches the grout and, along with the grout, compliments the tile. Make sure the caulk line is smooth and even. There are a few reasons your mirrors might have smears on them after cleaning, but the two most likely are remaining cleaning product and minerals from hard water.
