"The sales/estimate was great, the arborist was knowledgable and the estimate accurately included details of the job. The actual service was also great, the lead on the job met with me and reviewed the plan to ensure the pruning would be what was bit and expected. The crew was professional and cleanup was excellent. The price (with the Angies List discount) was on par with similar bids from companies with the same experience and arborists on staff. The only difficultly was with the scheduling post estimate. The estimate was given in January, but company could not commit to when the job would be scheduled (likely because of the their backlog). This is understandable, but we would have preferred to have been given a solid date at the end of their backlog; rather we were told we'll call a week before we can get you in. Given pruning oaks is a time sensitive service, this almost made us go with another company that could commit to a solid date."

"Twin City Tree Authority removed an overdue, diseased Ash tree. I had been hesitant and dragging my feet to get the tree looked at, due to my lack of knowledge with trees. I was so impressed (and relieved!) with their honesty and level of arborist knowledge. I was given option of what work needed to be done, along with detailed costs for each item. They used a lift to access my backyard, through a fence and gate. They were very cautious and careful not to damage my yard, which was very important to me. Was contacted by one of the crew on a Saturday while they were working in the neighborhood. Since we had planned on having the tree work done, we indicated interest. Later Chad stopped by and we walked around the yard and decided what needed to be done and the price. The price was certainly competitive and very much in line with work we had done several years ago and the large amount of work this time.

Scheduled the work a couple of days out.  They completed the trimming and tree removal exactly as promised, and the removal of an enormous amount of branches and trees took about  six and half hours. It was a big job that included significant trimming to six large trees and complete removal of two. The trimming included one extremely large ash that hung over the house and removing a huge spruce that was way too close to the house.  All went perfectly. The crew has a small tracked "grabber" that dragged all the debris to the front yard where it was shredded. The clean-up was perfect - not a branch or leaf was left after they were through.

The crew was professional, personable and courteous. Our trees look great now!

"I can't say enough on how impressed I am with the work the crew did. The maple tree was huge and in a tricky spot, surrounded by power lines and buildings. They had to take it down the old fashioned way with ropes. They did a great job and worked for over 12 hours on it. They ground the stump all the way down and cleaned up the yard. I would definitely recommend them and use them again if I need any of my other trees removed."
