Vineland was great to work with. Sam had to research the symptoms before providing an exact diagnosis and the bad news: untreatable, remove. Second opinion guessed at the problem and wanted a full-property care agreement, starting out with several hundred dollars for nonsense treatment. Third quote for removal was exorbitant. In the end, Vineland's removal quote was most competitive and they bent over backwards in terms of responsiveness to questions, scheduling, and special requests. No surprises, excellent crew, careful and very professional. They later returned to finish up with routine pruning and follow up.

Sam came out on time for appointment and was great at giving information as to what and why they were suggesting specific pruning. Tom and crew came out on day of cutting and we're friendly and explained the process well. The quote was a mid-range one but the folks that had the lower ones didn't seem to be as knowledgeable. We really appreciated their work and definitely will be calling them in future!

I received quotes from 5 suppliers and I chose Vineland because of neighborhood work done, a professional quotation, and a competitive price. Theirs was not the lowest. The work done was efficient and more than ordered. The crew was very friendly and professional. We have other backyard trees that need cleaning and Vineland will be asked to quote next year.

Excellent. S. Wallace, arborist, returned call and set up an appointment, and he showed up exactly as planned. He provided useful tree-care information, evaluated the best service we could use, and then proposed a cost-effective plan we accepted. Vineland is apparently popular and busy, so we had to schedule the service with reasonable attention to our needs and their schedules. The service itself was worth the wait. Their people, led by Mike R, showed up on time and ready to work. They example the trees to be trimmed, made sure of their capacity to do what Sam had wanted, and performed the service well. They trimmed with good attention to detail, cleaned up well, always were friendly and clearly intent on delivering good service. They even took down the bird feeders to make clear room for the trimming without taking "short-cuts", and put the feeders back to the same positions after finishing. They cleaned up very nicely. Excellent service, and saved us money versus others as well.

I needed every tree on the lot trimmed. That's four mature trees on my lot, and one mature tree on the neighbor's lot, plus trimming some yews between the two properties. I love my trees, and the job done looks very natural, and makes the tress look healthier, while giving them clearance from wires, roofs, and walls. I thought the price was very reasonable, the communication was great, and the job was done in a timely fashion, with everything cleaned up at the end. Very professional!

They had a certified arborist assess the work and give estimate. Total bid for three trees was $930. They told me they were about 5-6 weeks out. In 4 weeks I was notified that they would be by in two days. The work was done, cleanup was good. The bill for work on two of the trees was $580. I am confidant that the pruning this winter on the oak will be good as well.

I got an estimate in July and then hired Vineland to do the work in August. I've used them a couple of times before with good results and this time was no different. They showed up, did the work and did a great job! The trees and landscaping look much better and they cleaned up afterwards. I could not tell they had been there.

I was really impressed with their work. It was clear that they made thoughtful decisions as to which branches should be entirely removed, which areas could just be pruned, etc. The result was four trees that looked much healthier and balanced than they had previously, were away from the sides and top of the house, and let more light into the yard. I could see from their work that it would have been wise to have expert tree trimmers work on our trees every five years or so, rather than just hiring someone whenever there was an issue. But regular, expert trimming will be the plan going forward! The clean-up after the work—including our neighbors' yards—was great. Really, there was no sign that they'd been there aside from better looking trees. They even put all my flower pots back in the right order! We got four bids; three were within a few dollars of each other, and one was quite a bit higher. Vineland's was in the first group.

They were superb! They kept me well informed about scheduling; they arrived right on time; they were efficient and careful and did an excellent job. The people doing the work were friendly, prepared and thorough. They protected the surrounding windows and plants and cleaned up everything before they left. As an employer myself, I appreciated that they wore eye and ear protection and were very safety conscious. And on top of all that, the price was more than fair and the lowest bid I received! I'd use them again without a doubt.

Vineland was great, they were very responsive to my initial inquiry for a quote and very clear on the cost and timing for the work. Our backyard tree is pretty old and had a lot of dead branches, they did a really nice job trimming it back. They were even professional enough to leave me a post-job call mentioning that during their cleanup work they noticed a broken window well cover and wanted to know if they might have been the cause of it (they weren't). Overall, very positive experience.

I contacted Vineland to see about care for my mature ash tree. The tree had grown all over the dang place, dragging on the roof, over the sidewalk, and completely covering the corner signs. I also asked them to quote for providing EAB treatment for the tree. Vineland was quick to respond, not only to my initial request, but also all following e-mails, even responding on the weekends and evenings to questions that came up. The prices they quoted were in line with competitors I also contacted - a little higher for the EAB treatment, a little lower for the pruning. The services were all completed within a few weeks, even in mid-summer, there was virtually no leavings after the pruning, and they left a card indicating the details of the EAB treatment when it was applied. All in all, I'm really happy with the service and courtesy, and am quite okay with the investment in our trees!

Very well! A very thorough clean-up after cutting, etc., completed. Took some time to do the job, but obviously this is their most busy time (June). E-mail sent two days before to alert us to time & date of service.

They did excellent work in every way. The initial consult helped us focus on what we needed to do, then the crew showed up at the scheduled time and date, and took care of everything within just a couple of hours. I had used them a couple years ago after a storm and had been very happy with their work then. They left the area completely clean of any leftover debris, and there was nothing more that I needed to do.

Vineland did an excellent job of removing the trees and working with me to have the retaining wall contractor take out the remaining concrete from the wall that the tree roots had pushed into the alley and then coming back out to grind the stumps after that work was completed. They weren't the least or most expensive of the bids I got, but they were so easy to work with, very informative and very professional. I have already recommended them to two neighbors, one of which hired them and loved them, too!
