Arbortech Stump & Tree Removal

Had Birch tree & stump removed. They left lawn looking nice. Good communication.

Arbortech was quick to respond to our storm damage. Upfront pricing. No surprises. We had a large limb fall onto our hose during a storm. The remainder of the tree was damaged to the point that it needed to come down as well. They had someone out the same day we called to look at the damage and provide an estimate for removing the tree limb and the remainder of the tree. The crew that showed up was extremely professional and worked quickly and efficiently. They brought a very large crane and were very careful about the placement and any possible damage to the driveway and lawn. They cleaned everything up and you could not even tell they had been there after they left. The stump grinding went better than I expected. Their communication throughout the project was excellent.

I can't say enough on how impressed I am with the work the crew did. The maple tree was huge and in a tricky spot, surrounded by power lines and buildings. They had to take it down the old fashioned way with ropes. They did a great job and worked for over 12 hours on it. They ground the stump all the way down and cleaned up the yard. I would definitely recommend them and use them again if I need any of my other trees removed.

John called back quickly, Scheduled the work the following week. Showed up on time with crew of 6. All pleasant folks. Took care of the job aas requested and cleaned up well. Seemed to be a fair price.

It went well. Workers were respectful and easy to work with. The trees look great. It was enjoyable working with them. I took three bids and their bid was the lowest. But, I didn't select them just based on cost. I chose them because they had a certified arborist and their knowledge of trees, advising me on what was best for the trees' long-term survival. I recently bought the property and the trees had not been well-maintained. Quality work, quality people, and reasonable price.

They were excellent, on time and professional. They did what I asked them to do and went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend them.

We received an estimate quickly and thought the price was very reasonable. The crew came on time, but the crane was held up. Rather than wait for the crane, they started climbing the trees and cutting away. It made more work for them, but they did what they had to do. The crane came after about and hour and half. After that, the job moved right along. After trees were removed, stumps were ground down. Then everything was cleaned up. The entire job was fabulous. Neighbors enjoyed watching too. The yard was left in good shape considering the amount of work that was done. We would recommend Arbortech to anyone needing tree work.

They were professional and do a fantastic job! Arrived on time, cleaned up every tiny twig that had fallen with ties and blowers, and their charges were exactly as estimated. I would use them again.

This was a door knocker who was working in the neighborhood whichI would not usually consider hiring. I did need the work done however so I decided to give them a try. They came back with lots of equipment and did a very professional job in a safe manner. They also cleaned up all the little twigs and branches and hauled after thing away.

I called Arbortech and left a message. The next day Doug called me back and set up a time to come to my house to see the job I wanted. I wanted three arborvitaes removed and the stumps ground down. I had one very large Silver Maple with a large broken branch stuck high up and I had one Ash tree with two broken branches very high up. All of these broken branches were from storm damage. I wanted the broken branches removed and the two trees and an additional Ash tree trimmed. Doug quoted me a reasonable price for the work. Doug and Chris, along with two helpers, came to my house three work days later. They finished the job in about half a day. They were very professional and cleaned up well.

We recently purchased a home in Mounds View and needed some trees trimmed that were causing problems with our roof.  For the price quoted we got a team of 5 guys with all the equipment they needed to do the job right.  Highly professional, stayed on the price quoted, did a better job than I expected and even hauled off debris that my wife and I had already started piling up.  Coming from the State of Virginia, I wasn't accustomed to having such quality work as we'd been ripped off many times before by various contractors.  I'll be using this company again.  Oh, and did I mention the trees are looking great!

We worked with Doug and Dennis. I originally tried to contact Arbortech through their online 'contact us' form. I tried this twice over a month's time, but never received a response. I then tried their email addresses listed on their website and received a call from Doug win two days. Once I was able to speak with Doug, he said he could get me scheduled next week, but didn't provide a specific day. Since they give a discount for paying in cash, I had to have a lot of cash on-hand. I received a couple calls the day they did the work. Since I was not told which day they were coming, I was at work that day and missed them. They ended up doing a good job. They spoke to me about a problematic tree that may need removal later, but didn't try to sell me the tree removal service at this time. I was happy with the tree trimming and tree removal of our dead evergreen. They even cleaned up other debris I had on site!

I would give them 10 stars in a heartbeat. The gentleman that runs and owns the business is a former neighbor of ours and that was how we got hooked with them to begin with. He moved last year but I saw his truck in our neighborhood last week too so he became quite familiar with everybody, and does such a really good job. His company is amazing. Our trees were so big that they had to have a crane operator come out and take them out. Our neighbor got hit with the same storm too so they used them too. Arbortech organizes all that. They hire the crane operator. It was just outstanding! One of the things I look for when I have a crew at my house is if they are neat and clean, doing a dirty job they may have come from another job, but none of them smoked in my property, they were outside and I thought that they were respectful with that. If they did take lunch breaks and stuff, they cleaned up after themselves, and I didn't hear any foul language. I don't have little kids but I don't want to hear that. They were very professional. I would recommend them for whatever services that they have in the list that they provide. They do tree trimming and what I like about them is that I think that they are fair. Doug was really honest with us and I didn't feel like he told me to take my tree out so that he can make money. They know trees. If you go to a computer store, you want somebody that knows about computers. He is a tree professional. In the past we've had different estimates and they have been very reasonably priced in comparison. Tree removal is very expensive. They responded immediately, and there were people in front of you so it was first come, first served but we lucked out and he was our neighbor when the storm hit. They were very prompt, they were not ever late, and their clean up was amazing.

It went well. They remove all debris and cleaned up nicely.

Doug was great to talk too and was very responsive when I had questions. Doug called the week he said they could get the work started and said they may stop by and get the one tree because the weather wasn't looking great. When I got home, both trees were gone. They cleaned up great and grind the stump and the roots. I was very happy with the work and Doug told me if I have any issues to call and let him know.

Arbortech did excellent work, were very professional and nice, and the price was reasonable. I intend to use them again, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree/stump service.

Prompt response to initial call for estimate. Provided reliable estimate. Was able to schedule work very soon and adhered to schedule. Did a great job trimming and clean up. Would definitely use them again!

I had previous work done by the owner when it was Stanford's Tree Service. I called and the owner Doug came to give me an estimate approx a week before the work was done. We agreed on 4 days that would work for both of us, and he stated he would call me and let me know ahead of time which day he would be able come. He called me then on Tuesday morning and stated he could come that day. It worked out for me so he came that day to do the work. They did great job of cutting down 3 trees and trimming several other ash trees in our yard. They were professional and did a great job! They cleaned up all of the trees and branches from the yard when they were done and disposed of them. I had several estimates and they were the best price for the work done.

I watched an oak tree fall in my back yard. Way too big for me to deal with. Called several companies for estimates. Doug from Arbortech got back to me and came out and gave an estimate the same day. No nonsense here. Doug gave me a very reasonable estimate and provided next day service. I was not home during the removal. When I did arrive home the tree had been removed and everything was tidy. Excellent service.
