Remodeling is an unending series of such choices, so if they were ever to lose patience, I'd know by now. I could go on and on but this is already too long. Just one more thing: My two dogs can’t wait for DNA to get here each day. One of them is a very active two-year-old terrier mix, and when the weather finally improved this spring, I had Derek and Alex take a break from the home work to patch up a corral fence down at the barn, so I could train and play with my young pup off leash. They did so in a trice (and installed a new gate, and better latches for the barn doors; and mowed the weeds in the corral and then the field path), then Derek thought that Junie, the pup, might like a toybox down there. I thought that was the cutest idea I've ever heard! So he built an open-topped wooden box, affixed to the side of the barn at Junie-height, which has been a resounding success.
