I'm the reason there's such a gap in recommendations here--I didn't want them lining up jobs with anyone else! I found this page and gave DNA a call. They were courteous and prompt, coming right out to inspect the problem and give an estimate, which was carefully detailed. The work was swift and perfect. Remodeling is an unending series of such choices, so if they were ever to lose patience, I'd know by now. I could go on and on but this is already too long. Just one more thing: My two dogs can’t wait for DNA to get here each day. One of them is a very active two-year-old terrier mix, and when the weather finally improved this spring, I had Derek and Alex take a break from the home work to patch up a corral fence down at the barn, so I could train and play with my young pup off leash. They did so in a trice (and installed a new gate, and better latches for the barn doors; and mowed the weeds in the corral and then the field path), then Derek thought that Junie, the pup, might like a toybox down there. I thought that was the cutest idea I've ever heard! So he built an open-topped wooden box, affixed to the side of the barn at Junie-height, which has been a resounding success. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough."

"I purchased 2 fans and storm door and Bob and his partner installed both in a 3 hour time window.  Because the install required access to my attic I was a little nervous about having insulation all over the bedroom floor. When they were done installing the fans they cleaned up all areas where they worked and also around the access hatch leading to the attic. Very impressed with the cleanup...never knew they had installed the fans. After the fans they installed the storm door on the front entrance. Again very pleased with the work and cleanup.

"Jake was very fast and thorough, he brought in all the equipment needed and the manpower to get the job done quickly! They didn’t sacrifice quality and we love the way our home looks after him and his crew did there work! They painted basically our whole house inside and the refaced the kitchen cabinets and drawers. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
