"The company is a family owned Roofing Co. All workers are experienced family members only, NO sub contractors. Thier work is impeccable! I can't say enough how much they pay attention to detail and they do NOT cut any corners to speed up the job, they just do it right. All are experts in the field, 30 years plus. They clean up after like you didn't know they were there. Its NOT often you find a contractor that you can trust to do the job right, Apex Roofing is the Roofing company to call. Plus they are all very polite people too!!"

"From beginning to end, Roofing Above All, excelled in giving me quality service and value for my money. Sheldon was responsive to all the questions and concerns I had, without making me feel like I was bothering him. The crew was efficient and cleaned up everything so well! The quality of the work was also above expectations and the one small thing I wanted adjusted was fixed to my liking. I would definitely recommend this company and Sheldon to anyone who needs roofing services!"

"Perfection metal roofing replaced my old and damaged roof with a brand new metal roof that looks fantastic and functions great. Their customer service was excellent and the price they gave me was less than half of what comparable contractors were quoting me!"

"Everything was done well. The new roof and gutters look good. They added the ventilation in the roof and corrected the attic ventilation to run out of the roof not into the attic like it had been."

"CHI was one of three companies I spoke to regarding my project, including a roof and siding replacement. Bobby was awesome to work with and made sure the project went smoothly. Both their roofing team and siding team were awesome to work with and got the job done and did it extremely well. I couldn't recommend CHI enough."

"Aaron called me back within 24 hrs to discuss my roofing situation. Was able to get a full crew out and completely peel old layer and install new shingles on a two story farm house and large garage in a day. Crew are fast hard working and very courteous and did a great job with the roof and clean up. I felt the price was very reasonable over other roofing companies."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

Metal roofs have a bad reputation for being loud, even if that's not necessarily true—it's usually only thin tin or sheet metal roofs that are loud during storms. Stone coating adds a layer to the metal that severely cuts down on any noise from rain. In many ways, stone-coated steel roofs are quieter than your average, run-of-the-mill asphalt shingle roof.

Roofing material costs vary depending on the type of material you choose and whether you install it yourself or hire a roofer. Shingles are the most affordable option and cost between $70 and $400 per square, metal roofing is between $100 and $1,500 per square, and concrete tile is between $300 and $1,000 per square.

Maybe you waited a little longer than you should have before dealing with the snow accumulation on your roof, and now you are wondering if there is risk of roof collapse. Here are some signs you should look out for: a sagging roof, cracking and cracking sounds, cracks in walls, and leaks in your attic and ceiling.

If you suspect potential roof collapse, do not delay. Take immediate action. Call a professional roofing company and get an inspection. You may want to move your belongings to a safe place and relocate your family until everything has been taken care of.

While the terms are often used interchangeably, wood shakes and wood shingles have notable differences, primarily in their manufacturing and appearance. Wood shingles are machine-cut on both sides, resulting in a smooth, thin, and uniform product. In contrast, wood shakes are typically hand-split or sawed on only one side, giving them a more textured, natural, and rustic appearance. Due to these manufacturing differences, shakes are generally thicker, heavier, and less uniform than shingles. They are also more expensive. Homeowners seeking a more rustic aesthetic often choose shakes, while those preferring a more uniform look may opt for shingles. Both are installed in an overlapping pattern to create a durable, weather-resistant roof.

When it comes to choosing the best roof color for a blue exterior, you have plenty of options. For a classic neutral look, go with a light gray, dark gray, or black roof. Blend gray tones if you want a more eye-catching look for your roof, or go for a different splash of color with a green or even red. Take inspiration from your neighbors if you want your house to fit in on the block.
