Todd P. is an independent contractor who works for Blue Water Pools in Port Huron, Michigan. Blue Water Pools provided us with his phone number when we wanted a pool liner installed. Blue Water Pools gave us a price of $450.00-500.00 to have our own liner installed. We contacted Todd and he gave us a price of $775.00 because "the pool was next to a deck". Keep in mind this was an installation of our OWN liner we had purchased online and was for Todd P's labor only!. He said He decides the price on his work, NOT Blue Water Pools. His price was considerably higher than what the store had quoted us and we told Todd this and he said that he would also hook up the PVC pipes to our swimming pool and Blue Water would take care of the Hayward Heater repair which we also needed done (as he didn't do heaters). He never did the job correctly. First, he said our liner we purchased online wouldn't work, even though the box said it was the right size, and we did end up having to return it and purchased a $530.00 liner from Blue Water Pools, which we had to go pick up at their store. After he installed the liner he left our home. The next day he sent a few young boys out to complete the job of hooking up the pipes. Since the water level in the pool was not to the point where the pump could be turned on and the pipes checked for leaks, one of the boys collected the money and signed a hand-written (by us) receipt and said that if there were any leaks that Todd would come back and fix the leaks. These details were also written out on the receipt WE had provided, (since I have a hard time just paying out nearly $800.00 in cash and not even have any sort of proof of it: hence, our hand written receipt). There were 5 leaks (2 due to gaskets, 3 just not tightened enough) and we contacted Todd to let him know. He sent 4 boys to supposedly fix the leaks, however, when they came they said they didn't have the parts ( $2.00 gaskets) on their truck to complete the job. If Todd knew there were leaks, why did he not send the boys with the parts they needed to fix them? I had even texted him before they came, took pictures of the leaks and told him what we probably needed (O-rings/gaskets). I called Todd several times and he finally got back to me, basically stating that he only does liners and this wasn't his problem. In other words, reneging on his original verbal agreement when giving us the original job quote. All of this after we paid him $775.00, $275.00 of this was to hook-up the pipes which he did not do. Also, we never received a receipt from him after he said he would mail our receipt to us. Maybe he takes all his money "under the table" and that's the reason for no receipt; BTW, when I first met him I asked if he was licensed, and he said he was, which I seriously doubt after all this.
Blue Water Pools gave us a price of $450-$500 to install the liner. Their installer Todd charged $785.00 and agreed to hook up our PVC pipes and he did not do this properly. We had to pay another company to do what we paid him to do. Money is hard to come by, when you are on a fixed income. All I can say to myself is live and learn!!!

As usual a great job. Monica in the office was quick to reply and the service guy found it was time for replacing a 20 year old unit. It took a week in the middle of a heat wave while other neighbor was waiting a month for another contractor.. The replacement guys were on time, worked as a...

"The whole process of quoting, sales presentation, finance arrangement, installation was simple, timely, professional, complete and painless. The price was very competitive, the installation was smooth and prompt, and the end product is thing of beauty. This review is from a homeowner who has had a couple of terrible furnace experiences in the past decade."

We have a great crew that knows how to get work done in a timely matter. We also subcontract work out when we are busy Ower bill is depending on the size of the job half down balance at the end or if its a large job then we will split it in quarter payments

Heating Oil questions, answered by experts
An evaporator or swamp cooler is a common alternative for small spaces. These coolers blow moist air into a space to help cool it down. They are more affordable than misters and use much less water. However, coolers will not have the same cooling effect as misters, cannot help plants survive the heat, and only reach a small area.
A geothermal heat pump system will take about 10 years to pay for itself, and it has a life span of anywhere from about 25 to 50 years. Installing a geothermal heat pump will cost about $14,250 upfront, but it can reduce your energy bills by around 65% when compared to a conventional HVAC system.
Yes, technicians check refrigerant levels, loop performance, and system calibration for peak efficiency.
If a geothermal heat pump is installed correctly, then you shouldn’t have to worry about having a backup heat source such as a furnace or oil boiler. However, there are geothermal systems installed that include a backup in case the heat pump fails due to extreme cold. This is simply a backup heat pump you’ll likely never need and not an alternative heat source.
Costs depend on system age, type, labor, and whether part replacements are necessary.
