"We have a ranch house which is just over 1,100 square feet. There is very little space to expand within the footprint. We contacted several contractors as part of this effort. Previous contractors wanted to design the kitchen the way they saw fit and not listening to what we wanted. Moving walls would have taken out closet space. We also wanted to keep the sliding doors in the back of the house. There seemed to be no contractor up for the challenge of renovating this space. A friend of ours suggested Madera Construction since they had just finished a bathroom renovation and did a great job on it. My wife and I decided to give them a call. We met with Marty and he listed to what we wanted to do in the kitchen. He made suggestions for enhancements to maximize the volume of space used in the kitchen rather than try to knock out walls to make the room larger. This effort doubled the amount of storage space in the room without moving walls. Madera also provided a few voluntary enhancements to the project to enhance the space further. They also spent a great deal of time paying attention to the smallest details of the project. As a result, we now have a kitchen which functions extremely well within the space we have. We can also store all of our small appliances in the kitchen rather than on shelves in the basement. We are very happy with the result of the project and look forward to hiring Madera construction for our next project."

"Had a very difficult time finding a company that was respectful of the urgency/nature of my need to have the AC replaced given the 90 degree weather we were having. Had recently moved into a place and just found out it wasn't working. These guys came out to take a look and had the job done within 24 hours.
