"Our main project work was performed in April and May 2017 with some subsequent work after we completed a new master bath in January 2018. The drywall repair phase in 2017 encountered unforeseen issues due to improper work done by a contractor used by the previous owners. While the cost of the project increased accordingly, Doug Fox (owner of Wolverine Custom Painting) was particularly good with clear communication and transparency as we expanded the project scope. The Wolverine craftsmen that performed the cabinetry, drywall and structural/fastener solutions for high ceiling drywall features were extremely thorough and skilled. The painting crew were excellent and took great pride in their work. Given the unusual nature of this home (in a Frank Lloyd Wright tradition) we are extremely pleased with the end result that highlights the barrel ceilings and interior features of this beautiful home. Wolverine Custom Painting was a 'one-stop shop' for us that exceeded all our expectations."

"It went very well. Mike is incredible!!! I had forgotten it was possible to have a really good experience with a contractor. When I first contacted him through Angies List he contacted me promptly, we met, discussed what I wanted (I provided him with a picture), he gave me a quote and we scheduled the work. Several weeks before the job he called to confirm our schedule and we texted the day before to confirm what time he would arrive. He was prompt and very professional. During the period I was waiting for the job to start, I changed my mind about what I wanted. The day we began I gave him another picture of a surround and we discussed What I liked about it and what I was trying to achieve. Then he began his creative process by cutting pieces of wood , beveling, etc. displaying them on the surround and showing me what was possible. Every step in the process was discussed and executed with my input. In the end he created something better than the picture or anything I had come up with. He really is an artist, very skillful, very smart and very, very efficient. The entire project took just a little more than 4 hours. I now have a new, beautiful custom surround for my fireplace and am very happy. Worth every penny spent on the project and a real pleasure to work with Mike. He’s a personable, quality, very skillful contractor, and I feel lucky to have found him. Will use him again."

"Awesome company!!! I have dealt with a lot of contractors, but none have come close the great service I received from SureGuard. It started with Dillon who asked lots of questions and presented options based on what we wanted--no pressure, listened well. Other vendors who came either were hurried or trashed other competitors more than presenting their. I started with just a roof replacement. The SureGuard team did an excellent job working into dark to be sure everything was done as promised. This resulted in a siding and gutter project. I did not even consider getting additional quotes, because SureGuard earned my trust. Dillan presented a design based on what the interior of our home looked like. We went with a grey/white siding with cedar panels in red on the gables and a black/white/grey stone bottom half--BEAUTIFUL! John and Ryan made an awesome team. They are both friendly, courteous, and take great pride in the work they do. They would take out the time to explain exactly what they were working on and were patient to answer any questions. They were great with my dogs (one of my dogs still runs around the house looking for John!). The owner, Tony Saferian, came out almost daily to check on progress, answer questions and keep me aware of where they were at in the project. Tony is meticulous! He made it very clear that he expects to have the same quality of work done as though it was on his own home. I had some big additional items I requested during the project. Usually, a contractor would say they would do it later, but Tony and his team completed these changes. They wanted to be sure we were completely satisfied when the job was done. My wife and I were completely satisfied and expectations were exceeded. When you invest in your home make sure you invest in a good contractor. SureGuard is the best out there by far."

"We went with KLH after interviewing multiple general contractors and are so glad we did. After hearing of all these horror stories from friends & family about the companies they hired, I wasn't expecting much but Ken really does mean it when he says he always takes care of his customers. To start, we hired him for a kitchen remodel. But soon after we had a separate emergency involving a big leak from a hard rain in the basement and I reached out to him as I had no one else to call. The next morning he was on the side of my house with a tarp and sealant! He ended up having his crew do multiple things to the side of the house to get us back to bone dry and it was really nice to have someone as determined as us to get the leak 100% resolved. On top of that, he would catch issues we didn't even notice and the ones we did notice he had resolved quickly. Him and his guys also had some great recommendations for our Kitchen and it turned out gorgeous. We had our first party with the new kitchen and received so many compliments! We will always use KLH for any future remodeling or home projects and would recommend them to anyone."
