I called Deline Construction and Brent Deline promptly returned my call. We set a time for him to come out and look at the roof and he showed up on time and climbed up on the roof to look at the first problem area. He spent a lot of time trying to locate where the leak was originating from. He finally found the spot and discussed with me how he planned to repair the roof. He took pictures of the area. Then we moved on to the second area. This was a more difficult area to identify exactly where the leak was coming from. Once again he took pictures of the area. We discussed what he planned to do. I told him I had to have a Certificate of Insurance before he could start the work. He promptly e-mailed me the certificate and the estimate. The estimate was higher than I was expecting, but I was so impressed by his thoroughness and professionalism, I knew that he was the guy I wanted to fix the roof because he had really put a lot of time and effort into identifying the source of both leaks. I had experienced some disappointments with other contractors in the past and I did not want to suffer through another failed attempt. He and his crew came out when he said they would and did the work exactly as had been discussed. He made an extra effort to match the shingles; he made two trips to his supplier and later e-mailed a photo to supplier. It turned out the shingles had been discontinued by the manufacturer, but it appears that the new shingles have blended in well with the existing ones. The work was done over a two day period and his crew was friendly and courteous. They did a good job of cleaning up the work site. I am satisifed with the work that was done and I expect that the leaks have finally been solved.

Deline was prompt with the estimate and the crew started on time. The new roof looks great!

He didn't quote the job because he said that it was too far for him to come out.

He was a very good job. He was very professional and took pride in his work. He also does work for a builder, so sometimes, it did not go as fast as we would have liked. Overall we really appreciate his work and we would use him again. We spent $32,000 on the windows. The old windows were not well insulated and were rotting and falling apart. He was very responsive, other than that he never called all the time to tell me when he was coming. We liked his attention to detail and quality of workmanship when he was replacing the roof. We spent about $14,000 on the roof.

He was very promt in coming to our house and giving us a timely estimate for the work. The team showed up on the appointed day and finished the job in two days. They were neat, well behaved and professional in every way. Between day one and two we noticed that a couple of windows were not level and it was fixed the first thing on day two with an apology for not getting it right the first time. We finished the interior trim work ourselves, so I can't comment on finished carpentry, but we were very satisfied with the trim work outside. We have a redwood house and they matched the trim with cedar where they could not reuse the original redwood. Brent also had a man do the caulk work around the windows. He was so good we had him do the entire house! I highly reccomend Brent DeLine and would have him work for me again.
