Walls N All Painting LLCI have been very happy with Walls N All painting! I called for an estimate and Shane came out. He is very responsive and professional. The estimate was written such that there are no questions as to what the job includes. When I scheduled, he told me the day his crew would be out and that is exactly when they showed up! I have had the company out twice for 4-5 day jobs. This summer they will be painting my exterior. The painting is top quality and they clean-up, leaving nothing behind. I have had painters say they will be out but you never know when and what exactly they have quoted you. So many contractors never respond!! Not Walls and All. They are very professional and do an outstanding job. The team lead, Dave, and the quality control professional, Tim, did great jobs communicating with me. Fantastic job all around!! Dinse Contracting LLCWe hired Brian and his crew to take on our basement remodel that included some ambitious items such as: cutting and installing an egress window, turning an under-the-stairs closet into a beautiful full bathroom and a number of custom woodworking projects. As first time homeowners who were taking on their first major renovation project, Brian and his crew were everything we could have asked for: skilled, knowledgeable, communicative, respectful of us and our home, organized, and meticulous. While Brian was not the cheapest quote we received, the work far exceeded our expectations and was worth every penny. As expected when taking on a project of this magnitude, there were a host of surprises that arose that were all handled with professionalism and transparency by Brian and Chris. All of Brian’s crew were respectful and a pleasure to work with. Additionally, all subcontractors provided exceptional work in a timely manner. Brain was a true owner, ensuring that everyone who touched the project performed high quality work that was up to his standards. In addition to the work in the basement, we spoke with Brian about replacing some dilapidated siding on the exterior of our house. He and his crew were able to fit this project in without missing a beat on our basement work. They quickly removed the old siding, replaced it, and provided us with a fantastic paint job to bring that side of our house back to life. Our once dreary, outdated basement is now a beautiful family room that we use as a retreat on a nightly basis and is quickly becoming a favorite gathering spot for family and friends. Brian understood our vision and brought our ideas to life through his skillful work. JRB RenovationsJosh and his entire team at JRB remodeled our entire first floor and finished basement. Extremely happy with the results and the quality of work. Josh is extremely attentive to detail and it definitely shows. He takes the time to make sure everything is done correctly and looks finished. On top of that, Josh is very easy to reach when needed and communicates every step of the process. Our remodel finished in roughly 80 days. Josh and his team would have had it done sooner but we ran into some delays with our city. Not the fault of JRB at all and Josh was very open about the process. The scope of the project included removing two walls, complete remodel of our kitchen and living rooms, a powder room, laundry room, basement living area, basement office, basement coffee bar and basement bathroom. Included in all of that was new plumbing, electrical (including a panel re-wire) and HVAC ducting. Overall, I highly recommend Josh and JRB for any home project. The work is done professionally and correctly with minimal headache. The part I enjoyed the most is that Josh doesn't try to sugar coat anything. He is able to explain the project, work through any issues that come up and communicate effectively so I (someone who isn't very handy) understand. Discount Home ServicesWe are very pleased with the work that Gary did. He was respectful of my house and environment and always went above and beyond! Example: he’s was here when the pipes froze in our MIL apartment ( we were on vacation) and he stepped in to repair the pipes for us immediately so my 90yo mom wouldn’t be inconvenienced. Another time our dog locked herself in my bedroom and thank goodness Gary was here to get her out! I appreciated that Gary did almost all of the work himself so we didn’t have multiple subcontractors in our house during the pandemic. We were so happy with his work and work ethic that we had him remodel another bathroom. I’m positive we will be calling Gary again for our next project.- Annette A.

Martin and his team has been working on various projects with us for the past 2 years. Martin initially changed 2 of the windows and he did a great job at an unbeatable price, we subsequently had him change the 3 patio windows. Martin made sure the style matched the other windows and got the job done well within budget. We were so happy with the work that we asked him to replace all the 12 windows throughout the rest of the house as well. We also got 2 bathrooms and one powder room remodeled and got the kitchen redesigned including new cabinets, flooring, backsplash, insert lights, under cabinet lights and pendant lights. The reason I recommend Martin is that he works with your budget and your design. Very transparent about pricing as well, for instance he has receipts for all raw materials so you can be assured of what’s been used. The other big thing about Martin is his projects are turnkey, he addresses any associated issues that come up during the project (trust me, there is always something unplanned that comes up that needs fixing) and is very reasonable with pricing. E.g. when we did the flooring, we found the floor boards were squeaky and some needed replacement, he address all the issues promptly, fixed up the gradient - unlike some other big companies that don’t do any extra work in spite of charging boat loads of money. He and his team are very trustworthy, cost-effective, punctual, efficient and they always clean up after work has been completed for the day.

After shopping around getting quotes and design plans from contractors in our area, we chose Kurtis Kitchen and Bath. Their prices were competitive but we got a great vibe when we talked with Hala at the Utica location who came to our home and discussed remodeling ideas. She designed two or three plans for us, talking about the pluses and minuses of each plan and thought of ideas we hadn't considered. Once we chose our plan, she was knowledgeable in helping us choose all our granite, tile, hardware and cabinets. She was very helpful and the entire process and was low pressure and professional. We loved her "go with the flow" attitude, a joy to work with. Kurtis should be proud to have her as the face of their business. Once the job got started we met our Project Manager Dave Curtis, a stand-up guy and a straight shooter which we loved. Dave hit it off with us immediately, taking charge and planning out the entire remodel from initial demo to the very last piece of scribe molding. We always felt everything was taken care of, a great feeling during a stressful time. Dave was very personable who responded quickly to texts and phone calls and was always on top of the job making several visits to our home. Life happens, things get damaged, or back ordered but it never was an issue, everything was always handled in a timely fashion. If we every had questions or concerns, they were addressed without haste. I always felt like he was always working to keep the project moving along no matter what. During our demo, several unforeseen obstacles such as plumbing, wires, duct work and an inadequate header presented themselves. Dave had it handled immediately with fair change order prices, we never felt nickel and dimed. He had folks scheduled immediately to take care of the issues. During the entire construction process, the workers were professional, courteous and respected the fact they were in someone else's home. Even during the messiest stages, they took extra care to minimize dust and clean up after. All the cabinets and drywall work was top quality, we couldn't have asked for better. We LOVE our new kitchen and can't thank Hala and Dave at Kurtis Kitchen and Bath enough for the outstanding work. You guys are rock stars, thanks!

Called Siding Unlimited they came out gave me a quote but told me because of Covid-19 they could not due the job until late August. I told Steve, I had them due two other homes and I wanted them to do this one. I am very pleased with everyone at Siding Unlimited. Was told it would take approximately 7 to 10 days. It took the crew 6 days. They all were excellent people very informative and asked if I had any questions before they left each night. They cleaned up afterwards each day. This is the third time and I am very pleased in every way. I compared the price of painting vs. siding, siding won hands down. I had an issue of my siding getting damaged at my old house they came out and replaced it. They stand by their word, 100%. You won’t be dissatisfied.
