Called us right away and was out within an hour to repair our garage door.

Easy to schedule an appointment with. Don was timely and had good communication with us. Did a good job with placing a new garage door opener on our barn door and was able to give us some good advice for our barn down the road. Would recommend and will re-hire Doors Are Us again

Had and excellent experience with Doors Are Us / Brownstown, MI (on replacing our garage door torsion springs and cables). Don and Mike, both, went above and beyond. (Communications with Don, and Mike was our Technician.) First, they were very accommodating with our late shift schedule and actually began with text communications that went well into the late evening. Second, we had a lot of pre-repair questions and they were very willing (and seemingly not irritated LOL) to thoroughly answer each and every one. Third, they were able to schedule the work for the very next day (we weren't in a hurry... they're just capable of speedy service)- and at a time of our choosing - no waiting. That was really nice. Fourth, I believe they provided a great service at a very fair price. Likewise, they were very sensitive to our budget constraints and generously provided a few little extras to help with longevity of the repair and of the door itself. Fifth, we had some very minor issues and questions a while after the repair was made (something was making a little bit of noise, no biggee) and without me asking them to - they came right back out to make sure everything was OK. The door is old and, as such, was a bit "wobbly" here and there. They quickly cinched up some of the worst spots with some extra screws. It also has a pretty old drum (pulley, I call it) which they explained was just making some noise with the brand new cable, thus alleviating my concern about that. Before leaving again, they asked me if I had any other questions, and also assured me I can contact them with any questions or issues afterwards. Probably sounds like a fake review, but it's real. And I usually only leave reviews with companies I am thoroughly impressed with. In an location (SE MI) that, to me, has always seemed hard to find conscientious, knowledgeable, quality companies, this was a refreshing and welcome surprise. I highly recommend them.

Don was able to send Mike to replace the springs in garage door within 30 minutes. He removed broken spring, replaced with 2 new ones and door working in about 25 minutes! I asked how to dispose of old springs and Mike said he could just throw them in the back of his truck. I paid with a check and was handed a business card. I said thank you and was waiting for a receipt or invoice when Mike walked to his truck. He got in and leftâ ¦ I emailed Don using info from card, asking for receipt but never heard from him.

I had a tension spring replaced. The Work was done timely (about 45 minutes or less). They were several hours late but they provide an additional discount for the inconvenience. I would hire them again.
