Customers say: Quality work

"Joe is very professional and courteous. He just recently replaced our water heater and did an excellent job. Joe has replaced my kitchen sink and multiple other smaller plumbing issues. We could not be happier with his service. We would recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing repairs. Cheryl and Jim Taylor"

"We had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday that couldn t wait for attention. It seemed like the worst time to have to find a plumber. We were pleased with the rapid response to our issue, and how it fixed in a quick, professional manner by the amenable and patient Rob. The price was more than reasonable, and Rob told us what all of the potential fees could be before the job was finished. Would hire in the future, and highly recommend their services to others!"

"So I live in a older house (1947) so the plumbing is older too. Anytime I used my sink dishwasher or laundry the water would all but flood my basement making it almost unusable. I called and talked to Seth he was able to get to my home the next day and diagnose the problem my pipes in the concrete were old and clogged beyond repair well he managed to completely redo all of my plumbing brand new and have it up and running in a matter of a few hours! I now have a dry usable basement. He gave me a very decent price as well! Now hopefully I don't need another plumber anytime soon but if I do I'm calling seth at SWB!"

"Fantastic! We were in a bind when my tenant called with no water. I called Randy on a Saturday afternoon, Memorial Day weekend and within a couple of hours he replied that he would be there first thing in the morning...ON A SUNDAY!! Sure enough, he and his dad showed up around 8am, assessed the problem (old worn out well pump and leaking pressure tank) and by 9:15 had both units replaced and working with all new electrical line run from the well head to the pump. Fair price and unbelievable service! I couldn't recommend him more enthusiastically! I'll definitely be calling him for some new construction projects we have going."

"I am so impressed. We had a drain that needed work and I called Zoom (via sister company Pine State Services) after our usual plumber was going to be a week or so before they could come out. Zoom offered to come out the same day. The technician was as professional as I could expect and made sure to solve the problem to our satisfaction. Every time he had to go out to his truck and back for supplies, he took his boots on and off at our front door, ensuring that he didn't track anything into the house. If I could have given Zoom an A+ on responsiveness and punctuality I would. We will definitely call them again."

"Impressed with the communication and professionalism of Clear Choice crew. There were a couple challenging moments with measuring the surround for our bathtub and fitting the vanity around our existing pipes, but both were handled with precision and excellence in one day. Out of the three quotes we had for this job, Clear Choice didn't go overboard on the slick sell and they had the most reasonable quote. We are so very happy with our updated bathroom! Highly recommend!"

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Yes, a dripping faucet can increase your water bill. Leaking faucets use up more water than you’d think. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, a faucet that drips once per second can waste more than 3,000 gallons of water per year. If you have more than one dripping faucet, your water bill can increase even further.

Yes, you can use the same hole in the wall for the new spigot, provided that the existing hole is in good condition and aligns with the mounting holes of the new spigot. However, ensuring a proper fit and seal is essential to prevent leaks. If there are significant mismatches or issues with the existing hole, make adjustments or consider using a flange or escutcheon to cover any gaps or imperfections around the new spigot.

Tools include pipe wrenches, plungers, and augers. Professionals use advanced equipment for complex issues.

Most people choose PVC, or polyvinyl chloride/plastic, for their sewer line material. PVS has many advantages over other types of pipes. Mainly, PVC can resist corrosion and chemical damage, is lightweight (making it easier to install), is budget-friendly, and has an impressive life span (typically around 100 years).

You can buy a sealant spray for a leaking copper pipe, but it’s not a permanent solution and isn’t usually a good idea. For the best adhesion, you should drain the pipe, let it dry completely, apply the spray, and wait for it to dry before turning the water back on. Even with proper technique, a sealant spray is a temporary fix, so you should only use this technique in the interim to prevent water damage if you’re waiting for a more permanent fix.
