"Technician arrived over 1 hour after the time given by office. Did not know the job specs that were given when appointment was set up. Had to return to shop as tech did not come prepared. When settling bill tech said $350. We explained that we should not have to pay road time for shop run. He called office and came back and said the cost was $350, taking the shop run off the cost. We stated that was the same cost. Tech said it was $75 for the shop run making the bill $425, so minus the $75 the bill was now $350. The cleaning of one pipe with no blockage should not be $425. Tech wore mask 2 out of the 3 times we conversed but the mask was not CDC approved, which means the customer isn’t protected. I think EcoClean needs to improve its communication with clients and needs to improve field tech and office communications."

"Marcus came over the day after I requested the quotes (quotes requested Sunday, he came Monday.) He assessed the situation and explained options and pricing. He very willingly attempted the lower cost option first, even though we had doubts it would work. He told if it did not work and we had to go to the higher cost option, I would only be charged for that, not both. We did have to go to that option and he was able to clear the clog from my sewer line. He then inspected with a camera and showed me that there were several roots intruding on the line. He recommended repeating the process with a nozzle designed to remove these. He did not have that on his truck, so another visit was scheduled for today with a different tech. This was also successful and it was clear from the camera inspection at the end that the roots were gone. I was expected a horrible mess from this process, and was very happy that both operations were completed with minimal additional sludge in my basement."

We asked them to clear a drain and they said they do not clear drains. $400 for 1/2 hour work and a $50 shower head. Refused to break down costs on the invoice. Charged my card even though I disputed the charge. Overpriced, terrible service. Do not use."

"Our furnace wasn’t working. It’s only 5 years old. We called them and they came out 3 times…..never fixed our furnace. They charged us $3,100 of which we paid $1700. We refused to pay them at the 3rd visit because they claimed that it was the thermostat which wasn’t working. Why does it take 3 visits of 3-5 hours per visit to work on a thermostat? When I spoke with Dana, the manager, the next day he stated that Lucas, the tech, had to call tech support to get help with putting in a new thermostat. They took down our thermostat which had been working for 5 years with no issues. They put in a new thermostat, but they didn’t know how to get it to work. Dana was very angry when I told him we would not pay for the 3rd visit. He started yelling at me. I couldn’t believe it. I told him not to come back. Bad, bad customer service and they are a bunch of idiots. DO NOT HIRE THEM!"

"The “plumber” looked at my faucet and said he was “afraid” to work on it because it was “fancy”. I was charged $145.00 for this travesty. He also tried to sell me a service contract during this same visit. My faucet is not the cheapest on the market but is not especially unusual or frightening and is a common brand. It was installed by a licensed plumber, since retired, who showed no fear of the unit. The original firm of Caron and Waltz no longer exists and has been taken over by an outfit called Pine Tree Services. This experience seems like an outright scam to me."
