"So I live in a older house (1947) so the plumbing is older too. Anytime I used my sink dishwasher or laundry the water would all but flood my basement making it almost unusable. I called and talked to Seth he was able to get to my home the next day and diagnose the problem my pipes in the concrete were old and clogged beyond repair well he managed to completely redo all of my plumbing brand new and have it up and running in a matter of a few hours! I now have a dry usable basement. He gave me a very decent price as well! Now hopefully I don't need another plumber anytime soon but if I do I'm calling seth at SWB!"

"They were the first ones that called me up, and they were on time today for the appointment. They did a nice job and they did it quickly. They explained everything to me perfectly. I'm not a plumber, and I was able to understand the information."

"Troy was quick to respond to our initial inquiry, provided thorough explanations of the process, offered in-house financing that made the whole project affordable, conducted a site review as arranged by mutual agreement, and worked with us on scheduling the project of replacing the septic pump and pump housing, as the initial date didn't work due to inclement weather. Troy and his associate arrived today (6/24/2026) and completed the whole project in less than 4 hours (even with a lunch break included!) Our Boxer puppy "supervised" through the picture window, and injected some humor into an otherwise dirty, challenging job. Troy and his associate were friendly and professional, and we are thrilled with the results! We definitely highly recommend Cyr's Home Services for anyone with similar septic-related issues!"

"Prompt response… very professional! I have been without a sink for two weeks, called a few companies and no follow up.. Tejadas was able to fit me in right away.. they were at my home on time and did a great job cutting my granite countertop and positioned my sink to get installed by the plumber… I would definitely hire them again for any future jobs"

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

While the toilet bowl and toilet tank require haul away to your curb, landfill, or recycling center, you can dispose of your old, used toilet seat in your regular garbage collection. If your toilet seat is plastic or duroplast, you can even recycle it instead at a local recycling facility.

There are quite a few telltale signs that you've got a leak. The most obvious ones are that water is pooling in parts of your home where it shouldn't, and the water bill is higher than normal. If you frequently hear unusual whistling noises coming from the pipes or experience a drop in water pressure, these are also signs the hose pipe burst.

It costs anywhere from $150 to $850 to fix a pipe leak, but it could cost even more depending on the damage. The most common kind of pipe leaks, which happen from clogs or grease buildup, cost less than $300 to fix. A burst pipe tends to be the most expensive because it results in significant water damage. Expect to spend $400 to $1,500 to fix the pipe, plus $1,000 to $2,000 on water damage repair.

Some of the problems with in-wall toilets include the complex installation, which might need extra framing. It is also more difficult to access the toilet tank for maintenance or troubleshooting because it’s behind the flush button panel and in the wall. Over time, you’ll spend more on maintenance because you’ll need a plumber to work on hidden plumbing.

Minor fixes, like leak repairs, are manageable DIY projects; however, major replacements usually require professional services to ensure safety.
