"This was not a small project. The team did a complete remodel of my master bath, a partial remodel of my guest bath as well as replacing tile in my kitchen and foyer. Dustin is very easy to work with. I needed someone I could trust when it came to the design of the master bath. Dustin helped me turn my vague concepts into very concrete ideas. His team was wonderful to work with. They were skilled craftsmen who were very respectful of my space, My condo finally feels like home. I would highly recommend this group if you are considering a project. Thank you Coastal Bay."

"George under promised and over delivered. I had a SanSpa jetted tub/shower insert removed and replaced with an acrylic shower surround with shower base and sliding glass doors. George completed the work on time, at the price quoted, and helped me solve some special order problems that I had along the way. We were preparing the house for sale and my realtor was very concerned that we were replacing the shower with an acrylic surround instead of tile, but was pleasantly surprised at the results. George provided me with good advice to help me with the selection of materials and I would definitely recommend him to my friends and use him again."

"not to good :( I felt I did most of the work by providing all the details floor plans and colors.  What I got back was only two floor plans and some websites to purchase living room deco and some paint samples. Not enough for the money I paid. It also took a month or so before I received these things too.

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

The best bathroom floor tiles are strong enough to withstand the weight of a clawfoot tub. However, professional tile installation is essential. If the tiles are uneven or improperly fixed, they may crack under the pressure. Be careful when installing the tub—if it drops or drags on the tiles, it could easily cause scratches or cracks.

The grout shade you choose comes down to personal taste and preference. A darker grout will give you a more dramatic and noticeable contrast with the tile around it; however, lighter grout helps create a more uniform look when blending the colors together. Additionally, a darker grout combined with a patterned tile could be overwhelming to the eye, while lighter grout makes the pattern stand out as the main focus.

Ceramic tile adheres best with premixed adhesive or mortar. If you’re installing the tile in an area with moisture, such as a bathroom or kitchen, opt for waterproof adhesive, and if you choose mortar, make sure it’s thick because that is the easiest to work with and ensures the tiles will sit flat.

DIY is possible for small projects. Professional services ensure precision and long-lasting results.

No, tiling over painted walls or wallpapered surfaces is generally not recommended. Textured surfaces and paints will affect the adhesive, possibly causing tiles to lift or fall off. Painted walls with a semi-gloss or high-gloss finish are particularly difficult for adding tiles. It’s wise to strip the paint first if you install the tiles to drywall, although it’s still best to opt for a cement backer board.
