"George was very prompt and provided great service. Came out quickly, gave accurate estimate, and completed work in the agreed upon time frame. I would use him and recommend his services as well. He was able to do a custom tile shower, tile floor, install toilet and double vanity to complete my bathroom in the basement. Very satisfied with the work that he did, he actually had to come in after the previous contractor I had decided he did not want to finish the job after starting it."

"What happened is a bunch of people called out sick apparently the day that they were scheduled. They had to cancel and re-schedule for another week. That was problematic so they should probably have teams of three so if people call out sick then they still have teams of two. I know some cleaners do that. They did the job and they did an okay job. It was not the best, but it was fine."

"This has been a great experience. During the initial inspection, Dale was thorough and explained what the sources of my moisture issues were and how to solve them. We knew there would be some challenges since I have an 80 year old house where some work was previously done incorrectly and other work has simply just aged. To fix some issues with two doors, they even built new thresholds to make sure waters moves away from the house yet no one will slip or trip getting in or out of the house.
Throughout the process, everyone was very communicative in explaining what they needed from me and how work and payment would proceed. And for someone who hates using the phone, I was glad that basically everything could be done through email. The crew was also very gracious in dealing with my skittish dog.
Lastly, they left things cleaner than it started, particularly the basement. In order to get into nooks and crannies, they carefully moved things, including bookcases that are now neater than before the project started.

Grout Tile Cleaners questions, answered by experts

It isn’t expensive to change grout color, especially if you opt for a grout pen, dye, or stain to do the job. It will cost more if you want to fully remove the grout and redo it, but this method also means the new color will last longer than painted grout. You’ll spend less on frequent dye or pen touchups if you redo the grout entirely.

You can clean your bathroom like a professional by keeping your cleaning tools and products organized and having a cleaning plan or routine. Most cleaning pros start by dusting and sweeping first and applying cleaning solutions. You should let the solutions sit in your bathtub, shower, sink, and toilet, and wipe everything down with fresh cleaning cloths. A final mop gives the finishing touch.

Glass tile is one of the easiest materials to maintain. It is both stain and water-resistant, making it easy to clean and incredibly durable. This also makes it resistant to mold and mildew. However, make sure it’s kept clean, otherwise, your grout might start to degrade. Glass is liable to scratch, so ensure you’re using non-abrasive materials and products, like soft sponges and wipes.

Clean your silicone caulk at least once a month to prevent mold and dirt buildup. In high-moisture areas like bathrooms and kitchens, you may want to clean more frequently, such as every two weeks, to maintain the caulk’s integrity and prevent potential water damage. Regular cleaning ensures that your caulk remains effective and your home stays mold-free and well-maintained.

Hiring a professional to steam clean tile floors costs between $0.50 and $3.50 per square foot. While the overall cost varies based on the size of the cleaning area, the average expense for an entire house is around $475. If you prefer to do the job yourself, you can rent or purchase steam cleaners for a reasonable price.
