"Davon from NextDay Inspect did a very thorough inspection of the home. The day of Davon explained what to expect during the inspection, providing us a verbal summary as he completed review of each section of the home. The report he completed was detailed reiterating the issues he came across noting the risk to the home and health. The report also linked to clear photos of the issues."

"This is the second time I am using Val and his company. Thanks to Val we were able to identify a semi-hidden mold issue in our home from a long-term, slow leak. He was very professional and thorough. I was thankful for the easy-to-read report/test results we received. I would highly recommend Val for your mold testing needs."

"Jon responded to my inquiry quickly and came out the next day. He was on time and inspected the mold and let us know it was minor and nothing to worry about, assuming we fix the roof leak. He didn’t charge us for the assessment. If we ever have a mold problem again, I’ll definitely be using their services!"

"The owner, Jerry Stal, provided a competent inspection and assured me that all that my basement needed was a surface treatment. This was inexpensive. He saved me thousands of dollars because the other companies recommended a lot of tear down and other costly actions."

Home Inspection questions, answered by experts

Services typically take 1-2 hours, depending on the stove’s condition and accessibility.

Through detailed analysis of load paths, materials, and existing damages.

You can start inspecting your roof from the ground by looking for unevenness in the roof lines and slopes. Keep an eye out for broken, damaged, or missing shingles, and look for visible gaps where the roofing material meets exterior walls or roof penetrations, like your chimney. If you’re comfortable getting up on your roof and using the necessary safety equipment, you can get a closer look at these areas to identify signs of damage. If you notice any potential issues, it’s best to call in a professional to confirm your findings.

Crawl spaces are prone to issues caused by excess humidity and improper ventilation, but that doesn’t mean you should avoid buying a house with a crawl space. A home that is encapsulated and well-maintained shouldn’t have any more issues than a slab or basement home.

At a minimum, landlords typically perform an apartment home inspection before tenants move in and after they move out. Most lease agreements include a “right to entry” clause allowing for “inspection by the landlord.” They do this to check for damage, identify repairs and maintenance needs, and ensure tenants are following property rules.
