I got quotes from several competitors and Five Star Baths had by far the best design solution, the best materials (their Sentrel product had a far better look and feel than their competitor's acrylic), and a surprisingly lower cost. After an exhaustive search of potential companies, I came across Mako Shower & Bath. Shawn visited us for a consultation and gave us an opportunity to explore the different design options. He was very thorough and provided all of the information we needed about how it would be installed. For accessibility, we decided to have a folding seat and two grab bars installed in the shower. Once all of the parts were delivered to Mako, the install itself took less than a day. The installers, Kevin and Riley, did a fantastic job and we are extremely pleased with the new shower and flooring. It not only looks amazing, it addresses all of the safety and accessibility issues we had with the old bathtub and floor."

"Our master bathroom desperately needed an update, and VKB Kitchen and Bath Frederick completely transformed it. We wanted a bathroom that felt more open and relaxing with a better shower, updated tile and fixtures, and more useful storage. We did run into an unexpected issue once the old bathroom was opened up. Our project manager explained what they found, showed us what needed to be addressed and kept us updated while it was being taken care of. There was a slight delay because of it, but we appreciated that they wanted to fix the underlying problem correctly instead of covering it up and moving on.
