"Excellent! Sterling was prompt, courteous, and professional in the way he went about the job, explaining each step and telling me up front what the cost of the effort would be. He cleaned the clog and left no mess whatsoever. I would highly recommend his business and would seek his help again for another plumbing problem."

"The team came out the Friday before, 1/8/16, for an estimate and they arrived on time. They quickly got to work and had an estimate written in about 20 minutes. The tech answered all my questions and the price was well below the other 4 estimates i received for the exact some model. we decided to go with them and on monday 1/11/16, i called and they booked me for 1/16/16, which was impressive. On the install, the same tech that gave me the quote came to do the install which was very nice as he was already familiar with my system. he to work right away. he was prompt, clean, and professional during the entire install. another tech arrived in the middle of the install to handle the electrical work and he too was prompt, clean, and professional. the entire install took about 3 hours. in the end, the humidifier was installed and worked perfectly.
i would def recommend this company for other services. in fact, just the week after, i used for an emergency service ($185) as the back plate of my nest failed and was causing my heat and AC to be on at the same time. the tech arrived quickly and had solved the problem very quickly (in about an hour).
as i said, i would def recommend this company."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

To keep your toilet from clogging, you can use less toilet paper. You can also use a liquid toilet plunger to break up any clogs and keep the toilet drain and pipes clear. When it comes to a clogged toilet, the best route is prevention by using less toilet paper and making sure the mechanisms are all working properly.

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.

Yes, sewage smells can originate from a floor drain. If the P-Trap in the floor drain dries out or if there's a clog or other issue in the plumbing system, sewer gasses can escape through the drain, causing nasty odors. Regularly pouring water into the drain helps maintain the water seal and prevent those smells, but if the smell persists, you should have a plumbing professional inspect the drain for potential problems.

Regardless of the drain cleaner type you choose to use, they all work through chemical reactions that create heat. Thanks to the heat, the clogged hair begins to dissolve until it is able to be flushed away. To avoid clogs in your drain due to hair, use hair catchers and empty them out after every shower.

As a preventative measure, hydro jetting should be done every one to two years. However, the best practice is to hydro jet your sewer line once per year. The ideal frequency depends on several factors, including the age and condition of your pipes, how prone they are to clogging, how often the sewer line is used, and the type of waste disposed of in the system. If you frequently experience clogs or are unsure, it's best to ask a licensed plumber for a recommendation specific to your plumbing system.
