"Freedom Fence & Deck did a fantastic job replacing our 35-year-old wood fence with a beautiful white vinyl fence. Jim (the salesman) was very easy to work with and accommodated all of our design choices. We found particular latches and handles that we wanted to use, and they agreed to install them for us. The contract process was quick and straightforward. After about six weeks, they were ready to install the fence. They sent out two crews at the same time, plus the owner Steve, who worked alongside them. With seven people working, they managed to finish the entire job in just one day! Our old wood fence was completely removed in about 15 minutes, and then they meticulously installed the new fence, setting all the posts into wet concrete and making sure all the sections were straight. At the end of the long day, when one of the locking gate latches wasn’t working right, Steve patiently worked on it until eventually we realized the part was defective, so he replaced it with a working one. A certain kind of handle had to be ordered, and as soon as it came in, he came back to install it. The fence materials are extremely high quality—the vinyl feels very thick and sturdy, unlike the kind sold at the home improvement stores. And the new fence has completely transformed the look of our property—we’ve already had several compliments from neighbors. The whole process couldn’t have gone better, and I’m happy to recommend Freedom Fence & Deck for all your fencing needs!"

"I'll start this review by saying that to me, the "end result" is what counts most.  And Neale and his company produced exactly the custom look security fence I had envisioned.  This was a bit of an unusual request, because even though many people have iron bars welded over their A/C units for security, I needed two large, expensive (side by side) heat pumps protected.  Also, I felt a "security fence" would look better than just metal bars.  So here was my experience: After 1st calling and getting leaving a message with an assistant, it did take a few days but Neale called me back to set up an appointment to give an estimate.  He arrived right on time, took a look at the situation, and after a few minutes of brainstorming we were on exactly the same page in terms of design - and I liked how he sketched it out.  I also felt his quote was very reasonable (his was the 3rd estimate I had gotten).  And I don't know, there was just something about Neale, I could tell he had a *passion* for security fencing and "keeping crooks out" so to speak.  After getting my estimate in writing via email later that day, I put down my (1/3) deposit.  About a week later, after fabricating much of the fence in his shop, Neale and his team arrived and got to work fast.  I took them 2 days total, which was fine (day #1 they installed the fence posts and the concrete needed to set overnight).  Day# was most of the assembly,  welding and the paint job. Now, about 2 weeks later, I am extremely happy with the final result.  Very secure, and very sharp looking!  Even the gloss black paint job is very nice.  My neighbors have made several admiring comments over the past week also.  The only thing I could fault, if anything, would be if speed - is critical too you.Baltimore Wrought does seem like a busy company so don't be surprised if there is a week or so delay / backlog.  Also, they do prefer cash payment vs credit card.  (I did my deposit on credit card and paid the final 2/3 cash).  But  these minimal factors were not a big deal for me, because *high quality* work and to a lesser extent, total price, were all I really cared about - and these guys definitely delivered on both!

"We have used Freestate to periodically trim our trees and always found Ben (owner) to be professional and more than fair in his pricing. When the heavy winds came through Friday a large tree split and a huge brach (more like a small tree - see photo) crashed down on our neighbor's roof, puncturing it. Our neighbor didn't know who to call so I called Ben. He happened to be in our neighborhood dealing with another downed tree and said he'd come over that night; and he did. The crew off-loaded some heavy machinery and promised to be back in the morning. Promise kept. By end of that day (Saturday) the branch was off the roof, the the split tree (a 70 footer) was down and the crew temporarily patched the neighbor's roof. While they were here I asked Ben to take down two other white pines that are notorious for shallow roots and fragile limbs. He did so at a great price. The neighbors and I are extremely satisfied. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

"I had them curve the outside edge of deck and install black spindles on the rails.  They also installed solar caps on every post.  The men were professional and courteous and no nonsense!  They completed the work in 3 days and 2 of those days were a Saturday and Sunday!  All work was completed with the agreed upon price.  Looking forward to a great summer on my new deck!

"BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS! My husband and I researched a few companies to install a stone patio, and we chose Deck Cetera based on positive reviews on Angie's List and a positive comment posted on our HOA's community website. Hannah responded to my email request within 24 hours. She scheduled a day for our estimate, and Paul came out on the agreed date, on time. Paul was very prepared for the visit. He brought sample pictures of other patios they had done, as well as pictures of the process for the install and those of stone options for us to choose from. We sat down and discussed our budget and an idea of what we were looking for. Paul returned to discuss the final quote and he provided a drawing of the design. We did what you are typically advised against when working with contractors, and we said "yes" to Deck Cetera without getting any other bids... needless to say, we do not regret this decision one bit! Throughout the installation, both Colin and Jay (the foreman on site) were very responsive. One day, I sat inside and watched the workers for a short while. I was highly impressed with their skill and workmanship. After the install, it rained a lot and one of our corner bricks came loose. However, Jay came back within a day to fix it, and we are certain that stone and our entire patio will not be shifting loose at any point in the future. Whenever we decide to expand our design by adding a walkway and sitting walls, we will DEFINITELY call on Deck Cetera again. We LOVE our new patio and are so grateful for the entire Deck Cetera crew."

"The crew, lead by Luis, showed up as scheduled and talked with us about the work agreed upon. Luis was very professional and courteous and the crew started work immediately.  The tree was massive, but the crew made it look like a cake walk. They cleaned all debris and wood as they worked and took care in not damaging any of our other trees and buildings/fence in the area of work.  While they finished cutting down the large tree, they trimmed the other tree carefully and ground out the stumps we had identified in the yard. They cleaned up as they went, and filled in the large hole left by the huge stump as well.  They are currently still working on grinding out the dead tree stump and the remainder of the crew has moved on to other jobs. They were professional, know their trade, left our yard the way they found it, and completed the job much faster than we ever expected. 
I've already called Jill at the office to sing our praises and pay the invoice. We will definitely hire them again should we have future tree work and recommend them to our friends. Thanks so much!!
