I thought their work was somewhat acceptable but not above and beyond - for instance, they could have fixed the deadbolt by correcting the poor alignment of the door, but instead they just sanded a bigger hole for the deadbolt shaft. Also, the price seemed extremely high for a handful of minor jobs. I should have gotten a competing estimate."

He said he didn't know he was supposed to take the nicks out of the door and fill them in with putty and then paint over them. He just painted the door and the nicks that I wanted out were still in there. That's okay, they sent someone else out and fixed it and satisfied it with me. I had asked for the repair and the guy didn't have the equipment. He said he didn't know that he was supposed to fix the door. He thought he was just supposed to paint the door, not fix the nicks all over. The wood on the door had nicks in it. Like I said, they took care of it. I'm satisfied with what they did. I called them, told them what my problem was, they sent someone else out, the guy fixed the door, and now I'm happy with it. When I called, she sent someone out the very next day."

After the work was complete and I paid, the worker told me that it has extensive damage and would need to be replaced completely in the next 3-5 yrs. This sort of information would have changed my path of resolution (I probably would have paid them to just replace now instead). In addition to this, they were originally scheduled for a saturday at 4pm. i rearranged my schedule to be home at this time, and they called me 3:57 to say they wouldn't be coming at that time and would be here Monday at 9am. At 9:30 i called, and they said they'd be there by 10, and they didn't arrive until ~10:30."
