I had so many challenging demands including having to do the inspection and maintenance in a week (since I am selling the condo) and having to find an outdated fireplace parts. Afterwards, I shined a flashlight up the chimney and could see and physically pull additional ash from the sides with a cloth in my hand. It was mostly clean, but a little attention to detail could have cleaned the lower end better. Also, they told us we have a safety issue with a crack in the floor. They took the fireplace apart on the spot, but didn't have the parts to fix it. The chimney sat unused for 3-4 weeks in winter as we waited for them to get the part. After that time and repeated calls with no scheduled install date in sight, we cancelled the repair and had them come back and put the fireplace back together."

"We called to have our chimneys inspected because we had a bat in our home. Tim inspected both chimneys and the roof. He removed the caps and installed stainless steel screens over the flue opening on both fireplaces to help prevent bat intrusion through the flue. He did an excellent job. During his inspection, Tim noticed a hole in the b-vent chimney. Tim installed a new b-vent chimney from the basement to the roof. He connected it to the water heater and the furnace. There was no damage to our drywall which he had explained was a possibility during installation. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the debris and removing the existing pipe.
