"Only giving 2 stars due to promptness of arrival. My 3 y/o Bosch dishwasher developed a leak resulting in an error and the unit not working as designed. I contacted JB Appliance and they were able to come to my house the same day which was great! The tech arrived on time and was very professional while he was in my home. He took all of 10-15 minutes to diagnose that my dishwasher had a leaking tank. He quickly buttoned everything up and said I would receive a quote to repair in the next day or two. I actually received the quote the same day to the tune of $520(ish) for parts and labor. I then looked up the part to see how much they were marking it up which wasn't that bad. The bad part of this situation when I was searching for the part I came across MANY reviews of the Bosch dishwasher of people who had the exact same issue (cracked plastic nut). They also talked about what the actual issue was. After reading this I decided to buy the part that Bosch upgraded to due to the consistent problem. Part was approximately $9 + shipping. I emailed the rep who sent the quote asking for half of my $120 diagnosis trip fee back because the issue was not correctly diagnosed. I was essentially told no with some not true excuse as to why their recommendation was correct. So I went from a quote of $520(ish) + the $120 already spent to what I actually paid for the repair (approx. $10). Do not recommend because of shady business practices."

Robert was at my home within 2 hours of my phone call. He diagnosed the problem, identified the parts required, provided me with a final price for the repairs, and said he would try to return same-day with the parts. Which he did. Robert is the best service tech I have worked with in a very long time. He was polite, thorough, knowledgeable, and honest. I can recommend JGR appliance repair without reservation. I will definitely be using this company again if I need anything else repaired. It is so rare to find this quality of service anymore, and such a pleasure when you do."

"I was referred to Bogart Appliance by a friend. It is so very difficult to find someone reasonable, professional and prompt. I placed a call and left a voicemail and was called back immediately. Jose came out the same day. He knew right away what the problem was but we needed to move the washer out of the way so he could work on the dryer. We moved it called him back and he said I'll be out on Thursday. A part of my washer broke and he even helped me find online for cheaper then what he would charge. WOW just WOW. He came out Thursday as promised and fixed the dryer. I will refer Jose to everyone and I will use him for all my appliance repairs. He was courteous, most helpful, professional and very prompt to respond. Kudos to Jose."

"Take away: record then while they are in your house, you'll want the evidence when you have to prove they lied. 1. They tried to convince me that my fridge had a water "reservoir" that would take more than 8 hours to fill up. That's a lie - expect them to lie to you as much as they want. 2. The father who owns the business sent his son to my job. His son send to know very little about appliance repair so if you get the younger mid 20s - 30s guy showing up to your job, he will do a terrible job. The father had to come back to fix his son's mistake. 3. They "fixed" my fridge, which never really was fixed and went back to it's original problem within a month. When I called my warranty company to send them back out the son came. He said it seemed like the heater or thermostat wasn't working properly. 4. Then I got a call from my warranty company saying that arcnet had told them everything was fine with the fridge and no repairs were needed. Complete lies. Now arcnet dodges my calls because they know they were wrong."

"Mega Plumbing Chantilly, Va. (Brian & Pedro) did a great job installing my new dishwasher. They quickly and carefully removed the old dishwasher and quickly and carefully installed and tested the new dishwasher. They made sure everything was done properly and the unit was level and operating correctly. They instructed us on the operation of the new dishwasher. They were very professional, protected the work area and kept it clean. They hauled away the packing material and the old dishwasher. I would recommend them."
